Regular Missions vs FW Missions Standing Boost

I want to improve my standings with the 4 primary factions, I've been told that FW missions will increase it faster then doing regular missions. However, using Brutor Tribe as an example, you can find multiple mission agents in on station for normal missions but only one agent in a station for the Tribal Liberation Force.

Wouldn't it be fast to accept and do multiple missions at once from the normal missions?

Or is it due to the quickness of the FW missions that enable them to provide better standing?

Do FW missions provide the count towards the storyline mission?

Sorry if this has been asked, I tried searching the forums and I couldn't find anything.

FW missions do not lead to a storyline mission. Instead, every 16 missions or so, you get a promotion in the militia rank and a boost to faction standing. If the FW missions provide better standing, it is probably because you are fair game for those hunting mission runners in low sec, with a beacon telling all in system where your mission site is (that is, they don't need to probe you out, the mission name is visible to all in the system on overview.)

But since all FW missions involve killing npc's in the opposite empire, it might be harder to avoid the negative faction standing hits as well. FW is good for building standings with 2 out of the 4, but using it to balance all 4 would be challenging.

I believe that if one had negative standing towards a faction, you could repair that faction the fastest in faction warfare, but that assumes you can find a player corporation in FW to take you in for < 1 week (since you would not affect that corporation's positive faction standing till you are a member for 1 week), and grind FW missions fast in that week to get that faction's standing repaired.

Have you checked out the faction standing repair plan article in the evelopedia?

One factor that will lower, to some extent, the quickness of the FW missions is the new limit on a player having more than 5 missions. I don't know if that change went live or not, but it is mentioned in the last FW dev blog where they rushed the plexing changes in to stop the farming and weekend pushes for tier 5.

I've been offline for a few months but as far as I know, 'The Plan' is still the quickest/easiest way to get positive with all Empire Factions.
