FW mission questions

Ive been a FW pilot for a long time and missioned a lot before he changes to agents, etc

I recently mission-ed for guristas and the systems to get to the objective were less then 2 jumps. In FW it took almost 15+ jumps to get to the mission site. So my question is:

1) Is this still the same for FW?
2) LP to isk ration is the FW lp worth more or is it the same?
3) What were the actual changes to FW mission agents?

Missions can be anywhere on the opposing side. You could have one jump or 15+. Knowing the warzone and which systems are occupied by WT's or pirates goes a long way in accepting missions that will be easy or hard to complete.

Been a few months, but the faction ships (of which you get a discount in the militia stores) were down considerably.

Same as for the regular missions. 3.0 effective to do L3's, 5.0 to do L4's. Since I was just getting into militia L4's when the changes occurred, it was a huge boost in payout. Some of the veterans said one of two of the higher ranking agents had a bit of a nerf, though. However, a lot more L4 agents paying more means you can fly around and pick up only missions in quieter systems, making life easier.

I guess once you have a signature, you cannot have a blank one.

has anyone done pirate missions to compare which is better?

I was doing LP to Isk conversions last night and felt that the pirates were better due to:

blitzing capabilities
time investment
actual isk conversion

Good day, BolsterBomb:

In my experience with almost a year in Minmatar FW (before I left for piracy), you gathered your FW missions across a number of jumps (some low security space, some high), and then would have all of your missions in the enemy low security systems.

In gathering 4 to 8 missions, it was not uncommon that I would have to run 18 to 24 jumps to complete them.

Now, the plus side for gathering as many missions as you think you can tolerate is that you could have several in the same system, and several in nearby systems.

I would use the way point optimization when I was ready to leave (I would often use one ship to gather the missions, and then a dedicated mission running ship to run them) so that I would have an optimal route to follow.

Thank you.

Thanks Mara, yes you are 100% correct that is how the FW missions work, however with the pirate missions (gurista) the mission objective is next door for every mission. I have only had 1 mission that I had to do 2 jumps.

Since the missions are as quickly completed as FW it is now the jump time that is the factor.

Hope that clarifies.

Yeah, it wasn't entirely clear that your OP was asking about pirate faction/versus FW missions.

In general, pirate LP will be worth more, and the missions are closer. However, in null, even one jump can be much more of a pain than 14-15 in lowsec depending on how much someone wants to get you. That's not to say that null mission running isn't perfectly viable, and it's certainly what I prefer, but a black and white comparison of jump distances isn't too helpful - especially as many FW missions are much more blitzable than pirate missions.

If you're just after isk though, go for the nullsec running.

Can these be completed in the FW style of a blitz bomber?
