Faction Warfare Missions Aggro. Bug?

If a Gallente Militia member warps to a Caldari Factional Warfare mission, why do the npcs aggro him?

They are Gallente faction npcs, and in the probable conquest sites, Gallente NPCS do NOT fire on Gallente militia members.

Why the disparity here?

From a roleplay perspective, gallente faction npcs should be glad of the capsuoleer assistance.

From a game mechanics perspective, catching lame stealth bombers soloing faction lvl 4s is hard enough without the addition of blue on blue npc fire.

FW missions are there to create pvp opportunities. This is contrary to the current bugged game mechanics. Want to do missions ina mission fit ship? High sec is that way.

+1 to this. You should throw this into the F&I section dude. Ive never tried hunting FW Mish runners but if I did this predicament would be somewhat confusing.
