I love the new music. I too will be taking significantly more time on the login screen before I actually log on.

I'm new, but this is a huge improvement, IMHO, over the current. Sounds like what some of John Carpenter's movie sounds tracks should have sounded like, back in the day. Retro, but with some teeth. I very much like.

EvE, it's all about tear managment.

Reminds me of Tangerine Dream from back in my mad impetus youth. I still have some of their music on vinyl.

They should add music when you get a red/yellow 15 minute timer.

He's right, not everyone chooses the 500+ man lemming fleet nonsense gameplay :)

Even sound in this game, sounds like a ******** child gets to play with a synthesizer and that gets recorded and put into the game.

There is no reason ever to have the sound on.

The audio quality of this login screen track is weak. The melody, structure, and overall atmosphere of it I like. Its the sound quality I dont. Unless they were going for that casio 25$ kids keyboard sound, who ever produced this should reevaluate their production equipment and possibly invest in some better tools. Im not digging the cheapness of this audio track.

Invest in a better sound card. And the harmony a group of pulse pocs firing in unison make is a beautiful thing.

Its ok. Sounds very cheap with all the synth casio like keyboard.

CCP should look into someone like Two Steps From Hell to orchestrate some epic pieces for the game. Like the old Trinity trailer music. That was epic. That trailer alone got me wanting to play EVE

Even the group Audiomachine does some epic pieces.

Now that would be sweet, I'm already playing some of their tunes when playing EVE.

Or you have a ****** PC that can't handle it. I have a playlist that is 62 days long before a song repeats on my EVE client.

I have a really hard time playing with the sound off. I find it extremely disorienting. The only time I've ever had trouble with hearing fleet commanders is when using a jump portal/bridge, because for some reason those sound effects alone like to ignore distance attenuation and my sound settings so they're always extremely loud.

So I generally play with sound on, except if I'm really in the mood for music or if my sound cuts out as it likes to do halfway through Dread Guristas Fleet Staging Point 2.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

They're really selling the "gankers did it" message. I bet you can't even say "Retribution" without inciting rage.
