How to get stuff out of 0.4?

I bought some stuff in a System without recognizing, it is a 0.4 System.
Then I made a courier contract so someone would bring it to me (I can't even fly a Mammoth, so I would Need to fly seevral times).
No-one accepted the courier contract, after some talk it seems, that ppl think, it's a trap.

Questions:

1) It's only one jump from 0.4.station to a high sec System. The whole route is 6 or 7 jumps. How much would I Need to offer that someone with Mammoth Comes and does it?

2) even if it's only one jump... is it really that risky in a 0.4 System?

3) I think about doing the take out myself in several attempts (I will Need 3 flights with my Hoarder). Would you think, it's enough if I make the route once with a cheap ship or should I hire an escorte?

Black Frog Freight, I think, is specialized on Low-Sec transportation, though their prizes are pretty steep.

Other than that, depending on the system, you will probably best off with scouts and/or being the first to log on after downtime... Smile

1) Dock you Hoarder into the hisec system next door
2) Leave your Hoarder, fly your pod into the 0.4 lowsec system to check if anyone is camping the gate
3) If the gate is camped, try again late at night or early in the morning
4) If the gate is not camped, put a MWD and a cloak on your Hoarder and jump into the 0.4 system

5) If someone is camping the gate by now, set full speed, then immediately activate your MWD and then your cloak. One you are cloaked, wait until you very slowly move out of their targetting range and then uncloak and warp off.

6) If gate is not camped, go to the lowsec station, dock, pick up your stuff
7) Undock. If the station is now camped, immediately redock without trying to move your ship or activate any modules.
8) Otherwise warp back to the gate, enter hisec, and repeat

9) DO NOT ASSUME THAT IF YOU MADE THE TRIP SAFELY ONCE, THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO BE CAUTIOUS AND THAT NO ONE WILL KILL YOU - if anyone else was in system, assume that you were spotted on d-scan and that bored pilots are on their way looking for a hauler kill.

take it as an adventure, new player do not have anything to lose really.

Alright you may lose major partition of your assets but after all it is not much, someone may pod you but what you can lose because you new clone is really cheap.

0.4 system can be dangerous or not, it depends much about system. You can check some in game map statistic to check what has been going on there, you can also look at some kill boards and see what have been killed there and by who.

With new char it is best to get used to fly different kind of environments, it is just pixels and losing cheap ships is not so bad thing after all.

It depends on the system - some systems, like Aunenen, Jan, Tama, are known as pirate hotbeds where any unknown transport is liable to be slagged if it can be caught. Blockade runners might be able to get in and out, but if the load's larger than about 10,000 cubic meters, a blockade runner won't be able to haul the courier package. And low-sec couriers will demand steep fees because of the risks to the expensive ships they'll need to risk to get the job done.

This. Low sec isnt as scary as you might think especially only 1 jump in, the outbound trip is 100% safe and if you do this just after downtime its pretty much risk free. Have fun

1) Do you mean the system is right next door to a hisec system, or you'd have to go though another lowsec system to get to hisec? Because if it's right next to hisec then it's reasonably safe to just warp to the hisec gate once you've picked up the stuff.

2) Yes. A hauler in a lowsec system is extremely vulnerable. Anything dessie and up will have a go at you, even under gate guns.

3) It all depends on location. If you tell ius the name of the system we could probably advise better.

Depending on what they are, another option might be to sell the goods in the 0.4 system. The problems you're having getting stuff out of lowsec apply equally to getting stuff into lowsec, and consequently the prices can be higher.

We need more info. Can you tell us what system and station, and at what time you're gonna try this? Big smile

Do the pod/hoarder trick both inbound and outbound if you are scared.

http://evemaps.dotlan.net/

Search for the system and look for kills to see how safe/unsafe the system is if you are cautious.

If you like to derp, then just derp and have some fun.

I can tell you: in the next 4 hours... but I don't even remember the Name of the System... and if I would, I learned so much, that I wouldn't tell 4 hours before going there, lol :).

The value of the items is 60-90 Million, that's a lot for a noob :).

Yes, it's right next to high sec.

Thanks at all for your Input. Ofc me noobish fool has more questions now:

What's HTFU?

@all:
I will take it as an adventure and try to do it myself tonight.. if I loose one item, I get mad but learned something. If not, I am happy and feel sooo cool... maybe not, but you get my Point :). I Keep you posted.

If you want someone to help you you better tell us how much volume the stuff you want to move has.

Kno Smo wrote:

That makes it really really easy to get it out. The risk should be close to zero if you know what you are doing.

Micro Warp Drive, if you dont know this then I do think you better let someone else help you out with shipping out your stuff :)

Google "MWD cloak trick" and the first hit is this page:MWD + cloak at uniwiki.

If you have not gotten your stuff out by tonight (us time) I might even feel inclined to help out...

Horribly easy 2-man operation if you are not inclined to do it solo:

Get a hold of a friend/corpie/hired tug/whoever you trust. Now...

1. Your companion enters the 0.4 system and scouts the gate in a frigate or other cheap ship.
2. If gate is clear, you jump in and go to station, docking once you arrive.
3. Friend goes to station while you dock and scouts it.
4. If station is clear you undock and instantly warp to the gate and jump.
5. WHILE YOU LEAVE YOUR CARGO IN A STATION IN THE FIRST HIGH-SEC SYSTEM, your friend goes back to gate.
6. Repeat steps 1-6 until all your stuff is in the first hig-sec system.

Congratulations, it's now just a few jumps in high-sec and all you got to worry about are suicide gankers.

Have fun o/

Black Frog it to the next door highsec system, then Red Frog it the rest of the way. Much cheaper than Black Frogging it the whole route

Do what Antares 04 suggests. You'll get a great feel for the game as well as learn some valuable lessons on flying with a scout.

If you hate hauling, do the black and red frog thing.

If the system is Tama I can get it out of there quick for you. I have insta undocks, web alts and a freighter there. Just contract it over to me and I will take it to where you need it to go. Small fee, of course, 2 mil out of low sec and then 500k each additional jump.

Low sec is no biggie really and your cargo isn't likely worth much anyway if you are still using Hoarders (well I use them too because they look so bad ass).

Your best bet is to use warp stabilizers. Course, these would take the place of cargo expanders, but that is how it goes.

There is one rule to low sec: never take into low sec that which you are unwilling to lose.

Here is how it works. Your ship has a base warp strength of 1. A warp disrupter has a strength of 1. Someone with a warp disrupter will stop your warp then BOOM you are popped. A warp stabilizer adds 1 warp strength to your ship. A warp disputer will not stop you. However, a warp scrambler has strength of 2. So, BOOM you are popped. Also, a warp scrambler will deactivate a MWD (which you might use to burn back to the gate). So, BOOM you are popped.

If I fit stabs then I fit them in two’s. Two warp stabs give you a total strength of 3 and one warp scrambler will not stop your warp. Course, there are faction warp scramblers with strength 3 …

But your best bet is 2 warp stabs. Then just jump in and warp to station. The trickier part might be getting from the station back to the gate … there are ways around that, but that requires more advance work on your part and why should I tell you everything?!?

If you do get popped then don’t wait around. Warp away immediately, to the station (if you are at the gate) and to the gate (if you are at the station). You don’t want to lose your pod, too.

Good Luck.

Hi all,
thanks for your advices and ideas, I managed to get the stuff out with three flights... one time I saw someone but I was faster, so don't know if it was a serious danger.

Me happy now and thankful to all of you :).
Bye and fly safe
