May your spirit find rest in the halls of your ancestors, Doctor.

This is a good time to remind my fellow Pilots: We live in a state where natural death does not touch us. Suicide is the only rest we have to look forward to. Let's not judge too harshly, for should the years grow long and heavy, it is the path we will all find, in our own ways.

Sleep easily, Pilot. You have reached your final waypoint.

The vast majority of us will not write our suicide notes on the IGS.

The final ending moments of a system winding down. Erratic and passionate, but the stars cast off chaotic waves at their ending too, and it's from these ripples that new stars and rich new places are born. Perhaps this last note invites an opportunity to reflect on and enrich ourselves. A fitting testament, I think.
