Buckingham launcher utterly borked

Every single time I want to start EVE, apparently I have to do it through the launcher. But that fails because apparently the launcher is broken and I have to use the repair tool, which then sets it back to an old patch... And then I have to run the launcher again to re-patch back to what I was just using... And then that patch has to apply, and in all this takes about 45 minutes to complete.

Please tell me there's some kind of workaround; this is insane. I even have "disable launcher unless updates" set, and that doesn't stop the game from starting through the launcher.

When the launcher says its broken, the server is down. Just wait. No repairs are needed.

It's said that while the server is up, though. At least I'm fairly sure it has.

Which antivirus software are you using? If you're using ESET NOD32, you need to disable protocol filtering in the advanced settings menu in order for the launcher to patch the client properly. You don't need to keep it disabled after the patching process completes.

When a vast majority are able to get in without problems, it's generally not a problem with the game.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
