Clone vat bay in Wspace usage question

I know that I can't JC to a clone vat bay (CVB) inside a WH from kspace, but is possible to JC within the same WH to a clone in the CVB? Say, if I had a slave set in a JC and wanted to switch to a crystal set, would this be possible from one clone to another in the same WH system using a CVB?

You need to be in a station to jump to another clone. So i guess that's a no, it's not possible.

You can only clonejump in a station as mentioned above, so you can't use a clone vat bay to swap. Furthermore, I am pretty sure you can't install implants into a clone you don't inhabit, so even if you could jump to the clone, you wouldn't be able to use that to swap implant sets since you can't put clones back into a bay.

The purpose of a vat bay is so you can clone jump back to a fleet if you get podded and get back into the fight (or in case of a rorqual, the mining op turned slaughter-fest) more quickly

No, but you can install implants into a clone, then jump out of that body and leave the clones in the one you had.

I was asking about the Rorq's CVB in relation to wspace because the CSM notes from Jan 2012 stated that they would be looking at having the CVB work in wspace.

Well the problem with that is you can't put an existing clone into a rorqual, you can only create a fresh clone in one.

As far as CSM notes go, that is stuff they are looking at for the future. right now you can jump from a station to a clone vat bay you have already installed a clone in, you cannot jclone jump to anywhere from outside a station.

I am hoping when they redo POSes, those will be able to host a medical bay and count as stations, though. It would make living away from stations and outposts much easier.
