Obvious alt here.

When I deploy to a real combat zone next year (5 months), what is CCP's policy on account training?

I don't expect my wife to change skills for my 5 accounts.

I don't want to give my account info to my trusted friends Lol

I don't want to miss getting some lvl 5's.

Is there any way I could send CCP a list of lvl 5's to train for me? (Yes, I know its a long shot,)

Any good suggestions welcomed. Flames are expected, don't fail me forums.

While I salute you for being in the military, I hightly doubt CCP would do something like this as it would set a precident and theyd be expected to do this for everyone.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I'm pretty sure this question has been asked numerous times and while it wouldn't make any sense for CCP to do this, I do agree that in certain situations they should make exceptions.

Dude - you will be able to figure this out.

In the very outside event that you can't figure this out - I will volunteer to change your stuff for you without screwing with anything. My uncle was a Marine in Vietnam and I have a 22 year old nephew deployed right now.

No way would I screw it up.

Also - good luck and thanks!

This is the primary reason there should be offline skill queuing. Or a way for a third party to legitimately manage the skill queue for another individual's account. It would have two interesting effects:

1. Prevent the vast majority of account sharing thefts and violations.

2. Create a new service players can offer each other.

You should probably focus on staying alive and try not to think about internet spaceships. Jus sayin'

Alternatively- there are laptops, iphones, android devices, satellite, wireless dongles, Skynet, etc..

They should let people train into a bucket. Much like dust or when we get reimbursed SP.
The drawback is slow SP accumulation as it wouldn't use any of our attributes.

Unless you are in the Icelandic military my guess is they will tell you to pack sand.

If you are, just drop by and ask while carrying your weapon.

Best thing you can do really is ask a trusted real life friend to do it.

Why not? This seems to be the safest way to get the task done.

Perhaps it is time to extend the training queue to a year, infinite? Also allow players to inject any skill no matter if they meat the training prerequisite or not.

I would recommend one of two things, either:

A) get a laptop, and do your training queues over there.

B) Quit the army.

Though asking the wife might work.. as for the money you're spending on Eve.. tell her you buy your plexes ingame to keep your accounts going.. :)

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

+1

Not a good precedent.

As for doing it yourself. If you have any sort of Internet access, smartphone + logmein

I've done it on vacation to log in and add a skill to my queue.

Doesn't matter, Account sharing is against the EULA, so if you have your wife do it, you could be banned.....Cool

And hiding your spending habits is not a good long term solution...Lol
