Apparently not smart to try to smuggle contrabanned in a raven... To add insult to injury, someone looted all my quest items, so that's another couple of milions lost.

Why yes, you do get a few warnings when you loot boosters and try to shuttle them in empire, it's not like you weren't warned.

Certain items are illegal to transport through space. If I'm not mistaken, that Frentix you were carrying will get confiscated and your security status lowered. Make sure you check the legality of all your items before undocking to prevent these sort of situations.

No, they should not.

Heh, heh, heh. Contraband is a thing that each empire manages itself, and illegal items vary from one place to another. A very prominent example is Slaves being legal to haul around in the Amarr Empire, but it is illegal to do so in the Minmatar Republic (for obvious reasons).

To check what in particular is illegal where you are, check the "show info" page of the empire which owns the space. There is a "legality" tab there showing what is illegal and what penalties you will suffer if caught red-handed.

If you are serious about wanting it legalized, head over to the Intergalactic Summit (roleplay forums). I'd love to see a thread on that.

I unload every time I dock, you get a lot of loot from missions.
There's one medium gun to help kill frigates, don't really need anything else in that slot atm.

You use drones to kill frigates in a battleship...Ugh

That is what I was really thinking.

Why do you think you carry a set of small drones with you, to get rid of those annoying frigates. And well trained those frigs are no problem for a full set of 5 T2 light scouts.

As for the salvage/loot, when I do missions (which is very very rare) I just bookmark as soon as I kill my first rat and continue to bookmark each pocket / mission. After 1.5h I jump into my Noctis and go on salvage spree.

1.5 hrs? What about others getting your loot before you get back?

Or am I thinking of scan sites?

Do or can people ninja a mission?

Get a Noctis, looting in a battleship must be incredibly slow. Run the mission, bookmark the wrecks, turn the mission in and take the Noctis back to loot and salvage

Unless they scan down the mission runner while they're runnign the mission, they can't get the loot. You can't scan down a mission directly (only a ship in it), nor can you scan down wrecks
