Bllizzard acted like this 4 years ago, rapidly realized there mistake and changed it, however....

CCP screws it

Anectodal evidence doens't make this a fact. CCP has exit polls when you unsub (last time I unsubbed anyways) and know much more ahout this topic then you do.

1. Null sec is designed for large alliances not "smagg" gang / solo play.

I'm not sure about the other games, and really don't care much to find out, but Dayz does not have more players than Eve. Just from browsing over to the Dayz website you can see that today they had under 40k during the course of the entire day. Eve managed 40k + concurrent online users, and also requires a subscription to play. Sure Dayz posts that there's 1.3 million unique users, but really how many people still play that game after they realize how bad it is?

CCP employees are surely educated enough to know how to learn from their mistakes.

PLEX - Who cares, getting 500mil isk isn't that hard. If someone wants to pay 20 bucks for it so be it. IF it wasn't for plex RMT would be just as prelevant anyways, as an example, world of warcraft.

QQ nerfs. Hi-sec income is fine, it's actually not much different from incomes you can get in other regions of space.

CCP has already lasted much much longer than your average MMO company. Many MMO's have had to go to a F2P model just to stay afloat. CCP has lasted 9 yeras thus far on a subscription based model, nothing failing here.

Newsflash, players leave MMOs all the time. Heck, in the past decade I've left at least two dozen MMOs. Just because your friends have left the game or someone else you know left, doesn't necessarily means everyone or a big portion of players are leaving. Even the Eve-Offline.com stats can't give us an accurate info on the current subscription trends, only CCP knows the exact numbers, so unless you're a CCP staff, you're just wild guessing.

I also completely disagree with your second point. I've played a lot, really lots of many different MMOs in the past 12 years, from western to japanese/korean MMOs, and nothing, not a single game publisher/developer I've played has even came close to the dev-player interaction that CCP has with Eve. Literally, not a single one of them.

Yeah Eve is dying, CCP is dying, they've been dying for what? almost a decade now? must be a very slow a painful death then Smile Oh, one more thing, why is it a dying game keeps growing in subscription number? please, by all means, explain.

So let me get this straight, a resource required in nearly all t2 production is as easy to balance as reducing the income from missions or incursions? A resource that if you reduced would lead to skyrocketing.t2 prices, which woukd in turn drive u meta item costs as people sought cheaper alternatives and would impact the entire game, balancing that is an easy task?

God, what drugs are people on? It's like general discussion's only purpose is to let people spout off inane theories of how eve is going to die or who's in league with ccp or whatever crazy conspiracy is next.

I've got it.... It's all a plot by RvB. You've found us out. Goons and ccp really work for us. We just want to reduce everyone to t1 fit noob ships so we can claim all sov and win eve. Beware the RvB revolution is coming?

I love this thread. is there a problem with the balance of this game? is it a problem that goon has become so powerful due to actully playing the game as it was intended?? im sure if they wanted to they could wipe out thier competition in null but what would be the point in that. then there wouldnt be any reason to be in null due to nobody to fight. Goon is only a problem if you dont like that they were smart enough to capatilize on what ccp intended as a game.
