Goons - two years on the tech moons - how you guys feel about that, question about game future

I tell you what the real issue is here?

Halo 4.

There's this game mode called "King of the Hill" right, and like you get MORE POINTS for staying in the hill!

Sometimes, this is the really bad part, sometimes a TEAM of players can like STAY in the hill for AGGGEEEES.

What happens then, if you can believe this, is they get LOADS OF POINTS!!!!!!!!

This one match I was in last night, me and a load of guys all sort of sat around at the back and this team just STAYED in the hill the entire match! They didn't even leave the hill and they DIDN'T let anyone go in it!!!!

As a result they WON the match but NOT EVEN MOVING.

I think Halo 4 should be changed so sometimes they are in the hill and sometimes I am in the hill and they aren't allowed to take the hill off me when I'm in it.

(EDIT: For anyone who doesn't get it I'm making an ironic post comparing a relatively established gamestyle (i.e. king of the hill) with null sec and that fact that people want the hill to be moved instead of playing the game to take it)

Tech moons are fine. CCP should not be preventing goons from owning them, players should. NAP fests are player driven.

If CCP needs to change anything it's the ability to hold vast amounts of space with minimal occupancy.

Your question has been answered, numerous times.

If you have a problem with something in-game, then deal with it in-game. CCP has nothing to fix here. You want moons? Go get moons. It's entirely YOUR problem if you can't or won't, and it's REALLY disgraceful if you think CCP should hand them to you. That's not what they are for.

I feel that politics are imbalanced. The Alliances with more power are more powerful, just like real nations.

I feel nothing. There are no "balance" in terms of power or resource distribution or whatever, this is a sandbox, as in real world, "balance", and fairness just doesn't exist, and would never happen. Anyone can take, hold and retain any number of resources in this game if they want to, as long as they're smart enough to do so; Goons just happened to be the one who've succeeded on doing it to this extent.

Doing something to prevent this kind of thing from happening in the first place, would be way against what the concept of this game is; a sandbox. This were the risk CCP's willing to take, they've commited to the concept of the game, and they have succeeded in a way that a sandbox game is supposed to work. Hence the previous comments by different people, if you want it or heck, if you don't like someone's having a hold on something in this game, you do something about it, take it yourself.

+1 as always. There are 2 realities, Real (in game) reality aka a null sec where stuff is getting blown up and lots of people aren't blue (again, i know, just got booted out of Tribute/Vale lol) .....

....and then there is General Discussion reality, where all of null sec is blue (due to CCP/goon conspiracy) and prefectly safe to pve in (much safer than high sec), and is thus so boring that "null sec zealot" have nothing better to do than gank innocent law-abiding sweet as apple pie miners in high sec "because they hate their play style".

All realities are not "reality" lol.

CCP wants to balance the game from the bottom up. The bottom being noob ships and the orientation, and top being null sec, and the top of that moon goo. Sadly, goonswarm is chopped full of devs at the highest level. So they'll put off those changes for as long as they can. And for obvious reasons.

I think that your comment is very good. And we should stop here. You are right Eve is like real universe, and like in real universe you can be born as slave. Its not your fault ! Its just karma / chaos theory / etc. name it. So you are right. CCP made perfect game and only ppl are BAD ! because many of them is leaving game.. I'm wonder why they are leaving so well balanced universe ?

PLEX - micro transaction to BUY ISK (masqueraded as a 30 month GTC) to get ahead

Nerfs all high sec income forcing players to pretty much buy plex

CCP is a fail company that won't last much longer.
