Eve is dying. Back in '07, every time I logged on there were ~45k players logged. Now a majority of times I log on, there's ~27k.

Why deny facts? Those charts showing an increase are faked. Just look at those logged on when you log. What used to be ~45k is now ~27. Math does not lie. Come out of New Eden and face reality.

I just turned into an egg, did I level up? I spent an hour trying to salvage a wreck, when in local a guy said "Stop it, this is my Tempest, I was AFK"

Keep doing what your doing CCP! Eve Online is not dying. I once thought along the lines of Eve being very one sided to the big alliances... now after shedding my Cariest of Bear wings and going out in to Null, I reliezed something. No one is at an advantage. Bigger does not make you better. It just gives the other guy more targets to kill. NO SHARDS, just get online and shoot something, and when you get popped, adapt, undock and shoot at it again! If you are getting greifed, greif back, get blobbed, find a bigger blob of blues and blob em back. Fly Dangerous my friends!

That's always been true, even before Goons came to EVE. you see, CCP anticipated the arrival of goons when they made mining ships because they thought "hmmm, this will attract people from something aweful, maybe even Reddit".

If you cna't figure out how to counter people slamming into your backside with a bit of force, you have more problems than CCP not making a new module....ie never EVER go to prison and drop soap.

The biggest problem with EVE are the people who want EVE to be a game it's not. It would be a lot better if those people left. You know, the guys that want shards and are hung up on what other people are doing; you're the ones that saturate EVE and drag it down with your constant crying and demands.

I'd say that there's something much worse than people making bad jokes, and that's people coming to the forums to whine about the game or other players' playing style. I do have a point in the OP, and it's that there's a sizeable part of the community that is tired of all the whining, in and out of the game.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.
