thanks for the spelling correction...

do you have anthing constructive to add?

How is improving your ability to speak your native language not constructive?

I speak English just fine... Its writing it where I lack... Also you know I meant being constuctive to the op wich is about new officer mods...

If rache wants to correct spelling and grammar let him join ccl and go nuts... But posting that you found a spelling error is borderline trolling...

That would not work from an RP standpoint. These are drones and things like loyalty are a trust building exercise between two beings with emotion and thought patterns that exist outside logic which computers do not have.

Different people have different types of thought patterns. Typically those who excel at logic tend to be lacking in language skills. There is a reason why the engineering departments at many colleges are loaded with Dyslexics who tend to score much higher in math and science and much lower in language. If language is easy for you then great but for other's a little misspelling here and there is not a big deal.

This is a forum and I think it's silly to expect people to have perfect grammar here. It would be different if we were writing a novel.

A buddy of mine who graduated at the top of his class and went to a very prestigious college once told me that there was bumper sticker available where he went to school that said " before I couldn't even spell engineer and now I are one". It was an on going joke due to the famously poor grammar of all the PHD engineers

I think the real questions are: Will Yuni from Unit Commune be able to produce 1 Hobgoblin I whenever flying a carrier with full Officer Drone Control Unit fit? or should Yuni be forced to blow someone up for this reward?

you know i was thinking about this...

and tbh... the drones are gal tech...

what if some ancient tech melded with a terriforming unit to make the CAI... Central A.I.

which then hacked into the drones and took controll of them...

pretty much the hive mind queen of all rogue drones...

From a PR lore thing the gal drones were being used to explore the "drone regions" then became self aware and the gal had to shut off the regions they infected...

something around these lines to make rogue drones an actual factions... (the true aliens of eve)

At the end of the game both the pawn and the Queen go in the same box.

Well see, the officer DCU are fairly useless IMO, because the only difference between them and the standard DCU I is less CPU usage.

yeah i second that...

increased amount of active drones would have been better...

instead of 1 you could go up to 2 or something per unit

Then they would have to limit the item. Its balanced at 1 extra drone per skill Advanced Drone Interfacing.
Then they would have to make the fitting higher but less costly than x2 Drone Control Unit I.
The payoff may be just as unbalanced with more highslots available.

Just me or is that Drone Control Unit just a little pointless. Seems to only help with fitting and nothing else.

Rouge Drones are what you get when a Gallente scientist gets very lonely.

As for a Rogue Drone LP store and missions, well... They're AIs with a completely alien mindset who do things like wear people as flesh costumes. I don't think you'd be able to get along with them.

Though I'm sad one of the Rogue Drone officers isn't Orphyx.

Orphyx is probably digging somewhere, although I would have thought he would have made an impressive encounter in either Cache or?

I just looked at the Officer drone damage amplifier. The T2 version now does +23% damage. The officer ones top out at +24.0455%. The gain it tiny. As such they will have a value that is only a little higher than the T2 version. Not much of a boost for Null sec.

Lets compare that to another damage mod: Gyrostabs

Gyro: T1: +7%, T2: +10%, Best Faction: +12.5%, Best Officer: +15%
Drone damage amp: T1: +16%, T2: +23%, Best faction: N/A, Best Officer: +24.0455

For a similar progression the best officer one should be at +32% or so.

And how about telling us if you are planning on making a Drone tracking enhancer for the lows since even missiles will be getting one at some point?

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Thats sad i was hopping they would be like the Cylons in BSG where the lonely scientist acts like Baltar...

Something like the drones want to use pod pilots to help them get some ancient tech that will let them unleash thier maniacal plans...

yeah i second that... any news on when we can test these? i know they are on bucki but they are not seeded to the market... so its hard to test thier effectiveness...

though vincent is right... 24.0455% is way way way too low...
