Seriously the last time there was anything at all said 'officially' about the economy was in the CSM minutes edit by an uncredited source saying that there is now deflation

to wit:
CCP Editor wrote:

(Editor’s note on this particular matter: Inflation numbers have dropped very rapidly in June and we are now in a period of deflation).

Was there anymore 'periods of deflation' over the summer? We've obviously seen PLEX inflate & attribute implants deflate due to FW summer of LP bonanza but what about the rest of the economyQuestion

Rehire CCP Diagoras or hire some other statistics geek I'm tired of having to use quotes from QEN 2010 as my most relyable statisics& the black hole of info is just going to cause worsening speculation swings as players just start making up stats & saying they true becuase no one can refute them reliably

Periods of deflation over the summer? If anything the summer probably saw massive "inflation", at least by the laughable idea of using the CPI as an indicator.

Y'know, Goons are pretty large group. They probably have access to a lot of economic data (by virtue of their large number of wallet journals). I'd laugh my ass off if Goons started putting out economic reports, especially if they were more timely and accurate than the official CCP reports. (The former is trivially easy.)

Just sayin'

If anything you said was true (I decline to comment), why would we share it with the public instead of using it for our own ends? Data is valuable man.

True. I presume that backward looking data is less valuable, and that Goons have already acted upon it. Whatever residual value remains would be the price paid to embarrass CCP to the point where they make Dr. E & his team do their jobs.

Or, knowing Goons, "... the price paid to embarrass CCP." Big smile

because it'd give you the warm and fuzzies, which is worth more to you than isk?

That can be achieved by saying ''í decline to comment'' , true or false does not matter .

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

Backward looking data, correctly interpreted, can be immensely valuable.

That is what the the CSM minutes says so either the editor of the CSM minutes was wrong about deflation or you are corestwo. Blink

The Eve forums do not have the emoticon I need to properly reply to this. In light of that: http://i.imgur.com/r2vGi.gif
