Yeah, that does not work and neither does a full replace with a tranquility version.

I'd post more error messages but this terrible parser keeps freaking out about html...

Buckingham is at the moment down for a short reboot - it should be back up in a few minutes.

edit: And Buckingham is back online - please try to update now.

This has resolved my problem. Was able to update with fresh Tranquility checkout. P

Really nothing works! Fresh installation doesn’t work, repair tool doesn’t work and on Singularity I get same errors. I can’t update! Now how to participate in the mass test??

Please send a bugreport with the details (logs...) of your problems. I'll see if we find any solution for it.

Holla from Team Pony Express my space-faring brosefs,

In tonight's mass test you will see many of the UI changes coming in Retribution, I'd like to explain what these are and also any workings to you. I hear you asking, "What of this shizz is different from Tranquility dawg?" and I'm all like "relax yourself and listen, yo"

New Brackets and Targets

On Tranquility today you target anything and you get a square selection box, square brackets, square targets, rectangular health bars on targets, there are right-angles everywhere!

We have changed this to a new set of circular hairlines, circular targets, rounded health bars. The net effect of this is that your HUD has a more unified look and feel. The main reason why we needed to make changes to the brackets and targets was to make room for some nice new features which I'll describe later.
Some of you know there was an earlier design we showed you in a Devblog and you may have even played with it on Duality. But, you spoke and we listened. You guys told us that it was difficult to tell which segment was shield/armor or hull so we went back to the drawing board and gave you a design you should all find reassuringly familiar.

"In-Range" Brackets and Module-to-Target hairlines

"In-Range" Brackets are all-new for Retribution, they are tiny grey brackets that appear around Ships/NPCs/Drones when they are within your ship's targeting range. When you hover your mouse cursor over a module, these brackets will highlight white on potential targets that are within that module's range, letting you easily determine who you can shoot.

When you mouse over a module that is activated on a target a faint hairline will instantly be traced from the module to the target in space and from the target in space to its position in your target row. This helps you determine who your gun is shooting and which of your targets they are (especially useful when their names are similar)

Damage/Threat indicator

Otherwise known as "The Big Red Blobs" and another brand new feature for Retribution. Basically your client takes the damage you've received in the last 2 minutes, sorts it and displays a visual indicator in space around the top 5 bad guys. The indicator is a red circle around the nasty muthalicker who has been shooting you, the fifth most damaging will have a faint indicator which increases in visibility the higher they are in the ranking. Simple.

New Damage Notifications

"Begone! black box that appears in the middle of my screen which cannot be moved and updates faster that I can read"

We have replaced damage notifications with a new streaming system THAT YOU CAN MOVE ANYWHERE YOU WANT. Go to your NeoCom > Accessories > Log > Settings (tab) and press "Enter moving mode for messages". The transparent box is for our damage notifications and the Opaque box with 'This is example text' is for where you want your general notifications to appear (stuff like: "Orbiting CCP Karkur (1000m)"). Bonus: When you turn off all UI it now includes damage and general notifications, this is great news for EVE movie-makers.

We have lots of tuning and polish that will be done to this feature in the next week and there is a known issue with your enemy's name showing up as an ID number but please still drop us feedback for how you like/dislike this feature.

Tracking Camera

Here's how you enable this new feature coming in Retribution:
1. Click the menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner of the Selected Item window.
2. Tick "Track Selected Item".
3. Click "Set tracking onscreen position" (A big ship bracket appears!)
4. Drag the big ship bracket to where you want your selected target to be displayed.

When enabled; this feature plots an axis between your ship and that of your target so you can keep focused on them. Looks pretty.

Peace out. x

I have reported the bug! Last time I reported one I got the answer 3 month later!! I will miss a lot of mass tests!

I could start the client after the exeption error message - but the client was broken - my ship (Cheetah) did not render and I could not start a second client at the same time.

With best regards

Machine Info and Settings

OS version: Windows 7 64bit
CPU: Intel Core I5 2500k @ 3300 mhz
GPU: AMD Radeon 6870
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
How many clients were you running at the same time? 2
Graphic setting of the client (low / medium / high): high
- Anti-Aliasing: high
- Shader Quality: high
- Texture Quality: high
- LOD Quality: high

User Experience

Average FPS during the fight in 6-CZ49, zoomed out (brackets / no brackets): 46/60
Average FPS - Zoomed in (brackets / no brackets): 12/25
Was client performance better or worse compared to your TQ experience with the same settings and fleet size? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) 1
Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? nope
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: Especially when a huge fleet was warping, the fps dropped far down, sometimes to below 10.
I would appreciate, if the "HUD" was far more customizable, to be able to move the controls and displays freely.

cheers !
