BANNING RULE CLARIFICATION

Hi,
there is a discrepancy in banning rule:

1. In the original RULES post (DEV blog introducing the New Eden Tournament), banning rule clearly states that banned ships CAN NOT be used by both teams:

''When a ship is banned from a game it means that both teams are unable to field that ship type.''

2. however, on the official web site of the tournament, this sentence is missing.

I personally 'read' the rules as: bans are universal and banned ships can not be used by both teams.

I would appreciate a clarification, just to avoid any confusion. If Team A bans ship TORNADO, does it mean, that Tornado can not be used in the match by any of the teams?

Confirming that this is the case. When a ship is banned it is unavailable for both teams.

Hi there ! I wont open a new topic for this becouse its the almost same issue:

All T1 and T2 modules are allowed, with the following exception:
All Remote Armor Repair modules and Remote Shield Transfer modules are NOT allowed, EXCEPT on ONE of EITHER a logistics ship or a strategic cruiser.
Faction, COSMOS, deadspace and officer modules are NOT allowed.

All drones are allowed, including Logistics drones. Augmented drones, which were previously banned, will now be permitted.

I think there is hole inside this and we can use like Fed navy ogres. Am i right in this ? I need a clarification.

I am sure you will get an official response, but yes, drones are similar to ammo and charges in this regard, and all are permitted in the tournament.

Just to clarify something else - I hope that as in previous tournaments, the captain needs only be online for the start/banning, but does not need to necessarily fly a ship in any given match.

Yup, any subset of the team membership is able to fly in a match.
