It brings some fights but we are not under any illusion and eventually you get fed up by your lack of progress and bring a jesus blob to sit in local for two days to farm it.

After all, I dont think anyone else in Eve is so "well liked" like me that he gets 100 man alliance with capital fleet relocating from other side of Eve purely for plexing purposes against half a dozen random finns. All for hope of "good fights" naturally.

And if that 100 is not enough, DD comes along with another hundred and if that is not enough, i'm fairly sure wolfsbrigade would come give them a hand too.

Confirming that SP-DR returned to the system that was there HOME for a number of years in pure coincidence as their decision to move was purely based on plexing ladister lol.

More realistically, they couldnt care less but you no doubt smacked them in local, played the victim card like a child giving them narrative and purpose to actually spending time giving you something to justify your persecution complex.

And yes, plans are already being drawn for dnd and fate to come and capture ladister lol.

One last point, 2 finns + alts, strictly speaking doesnt constitute half a dozen finns.

Nope. They had their pos and spots for 23/7 link alt set well in advance before I even noticed their alt corp in local. And if that corp did call me a pedophile (more specifically during initial fights in Fliet back in 2010), should I forget it?

You should not forget it. Did you remind them to send more death threats?

Pretty much sums it up except the frustrated part. Jesus blob takes time to assemble.

If you didnt notice them how did you know they had their links etc in place before you noticed them?

Do you make a point to be contradictory in every single post? I guess there is art in that somewhere. Some people just post in italics, you take it to a whole other level.

Haven't talked to a few people over at Kraken and elsewhere, I would say that this is true. I would also say that this is true for most of Gal Mil too. Most of the "heavy lifting" done on Gal Mil side is only done by a few corps and the same can be said for Caldari. Let's face it; plexing is boring.

I think BM said it best when it comes to playstyles in FW;

  1. There are those who like to see pretty explosions . Eg; they'll only come to a plex if there is a fight to be had
  2. There are those who play for strategic reasons. Eg; they like to plex for WZ control, slight RPing, and forum epeening.

The bulk of FW players are the former. A few consists of the latter.

Too bad there wasn't a 3rd or maybe I'd still log in to play..

People that actually PVP'ed for the challenge of win or lose, instead of what EVE is over run with and that's people whom are scared to lose their shinys. This game got very boring when every fight was always against the same type of players that would never fight with out a sure win to back them up.

Seems you guys have gotten what you always wanted.. No fight. Blink

Thing is that if you form corporation in FW, (like PERVS and draketraing were), no one really wanted to fight against them in FW, so you have to find targets outside of FW to fight (that is why militias want to kill neutrals together).

So no point to even try anything bigger in FW, if you want something bigger just go some 0.0 corp/alliance where bigger fleets have some change to get fights.

This is really the biggest problem with Eve Online in general - Conquering space when there is no real opposition is a huge, boring, tedious grindfest.

Spot on. The whole LP store/Tier bonus system has turned what used to be a nice little system for small gangs and solo pilots to PVP and run tactical operations for system occupancy into a market game.
Im not opposed to rewards for plexes/kills but it does seem to be all about the ISK/LP these days.

CCP seems to be on the right track to fixing this though so fingers crossed...

Thing is, FW provides you with a very important benefit. Your members can still find solo or small gang pvp outside peak times which are dedicated for fleets. If you are too big and other ppl in FW will not fight you, Snuff will, BALEX will, etc. Not to mention that entities like FA, RZR or untill soon Ev0ke have plenty of assets in the area and poking them is enough to kickstart a fight.

So in that regard, I really don't think a FW entity that has gotten too big for FW should necesssarily look at moving twoards sov warfare as the only option to get fights. Sure, such entity will suffocate FW as we do at the moment, but hey, we're selfish enough not to care.

It is what you make it. FW is a great system for people who use it the way it is intended. It's also a good system for farmers.

a) Choose ship of choice
b) Roam around looking for people in plexes, or put yourself into a plex that restricts what you want to fight and wait
c) Shoot people that come in, or make some ISK if they don't

Intended result: Lots of people in varied pvp ships roaming around making ISK and happily shooting each other. More PVP, lots of fun.
