Training ores to level 5.

Hi , i have all my ores trained to level 4.

I have refining and refinery efficiency trained to level 5.

Is it worth it to train the ores to level 5?

To go from 94.4% yield to 96.88% yield in player owned outposts with 35% refinery in it with refining 5, refinerry efficency 5.

Is it reasonable? Id say no, if you can be bothered with that last few % your effort is probably better spent hauling that ore into high sec 50% stations where only ore processin 1 with ref skills at 5 will give you 100% yield (if you have standings > 6.7). The T2 crystals is these days the only reason one would train ore processing skills as in high sec it takes refining 5 + refining efficency 5 + oreprocessing 1 or implant to get 100% yield.

pretty much if you're in empire, no.

Most (if not all) of the hisec T2 crystals are L4 skills ... and I think it's the same for the lowsec (maybe the 0.1 rocks need L5...). The only place you "need" L5 skills is:

1. nullsec at a 35% station and you want 100% refine (note you need the +4% beancounter implant)
2. you want "Elite" harvesting certificates

You didn't state whether you live in high,low,or nul sec.
If you live in high sec the only reason to train them to level 4 is to be able to use T2 mining crystals.They give no bonus to refining in high sec stations.
If you are refining in nul then it will mak sense to train them to level 5.

Im in 0.0 have the 4% refine implant and ore procesing lvl 4's and get 0 wastage.

So at least some stations in null sec u can live with ore lvl 4's if u have the implant.

That mean our station more than the 35% base refine?
