mmmm...

CCP won't do anything unless someone reports a visual sighting. They aren't gonna act on third hand info.

Please Quote in original article where they are saying that Goonswarm is botting.

In the original article it states that there are 17 systems that fit the criteria for botting and that they are focusing on those 17 systems.

OP is a bad reader, they're clearly stating that within the eve universe there is botters and that they currently have a jihad against them Roll

Quote:
3 - The automated bots use ships that themselves require at least thirty or so hours of mining to pay for their own capital investment, when fitted. Ironically, they rely on CCP's own mechanics for protection: if you shoot them in empire space then "Concord" (an external, invincible force of NPCs: essentially town guards) will spawn very quickly and destroy you. However, it is possible to fit certain ships so as to deal sufficient damage sufficiently rapidly to destroy one or more miners before Concord arrive. For obvious and predictably tasteless Goonswarm-cultural reasons this is known as Jihading.

Humm I'm no fan of Goons but where does it say "We are GoOns, we are botting"?

I'm sure you will find Bot's in nearly every large alliance even some in yours?

Since riverini is about as good at writing as you are at reading, I think you're right: EN24 would be interested.

Finally, rock solid proof. I am glad we have settled that, so we can go ahead and ban 11,000 players.

It would appear that the thread title is somewhat misleading so locking this up.
