Ship-wise, you should be fine.

The one problem that alot of corps is the comms usage. The play time isnt necessarily an issue with alot of corps, i think.

How many characters are you planning to use for your solo ops?

I have one indy char with decent scanning skills that flies an orca, then this char for combat in a Tengu I guess. I have another char I can activate, but he's a plain ole miner without any other skills. He can be put in an industrial or a gas miner in a reasonably short time.

I understand this isn't awesomely efficient in any kind of way, but it seems this is one of few paths open to me.

ah fair enough. i'm assuming the tengu pilot can fly a Noctis or other salvaging ship too then? safe up an either cloak or log the orca while your not using it, and keep an eye on scan. if people have an inkling you are using an orca as base while in system, you may get aggressively scanned while doing your switches. Some people can get your location in 10 seconds, and as your in an orca.. its not like you can get away easily..

If i'm honest, the only thing that changes when you do it solo, is the time taken to run the site. if you add more people in the mix, you get done quicker, but the payouts are split, so its probably something similar isk/hr, at least from my experience...

Oh, and above all else, ALWAYS assume you are being watched... so try and use as many safes as possible.. even moving the orca between cloaks, to further throw someone off your scent.

thats if your not using a POS. but that could be VERY costly to run on your own...
