Seeing that CCP is fixing bounty hunting and a few other things it would be cool if they upgraded the courier system as well.

Some things that are really lacking in it--
---No way to bid on them--Should be set up so a player can put his courier contract up for bid and then either reject or accept any of the bids.

---There should pretty much be a selection in the eve menu that takes people directly to the courier contracts, something like "Courier Central" or along the lines.

---More information on the contract as well as more packing and shipping options which include---

...Smallest possible container division size the cargo can be packed in so people can decide what kind of ship to transport it with. This is information and an option for the person transporting to select. The player transporting can then either transport the cargo in multiple sections or all at once.

... A more advanced collateral system with the ability to quickly see an estimate of what each cargo container or ship is worth depending on the method of shipment and set it accordingly. The player bidding would only need to see the total collateral amount when bidding.

...More time limit options so a player can either deduct or increase payment based on time of arrival on a gradual basis or terminate the contract completely after the time limit has expired or a little bit of everything.

This will allow people to have anything from ore to your new pvp ships shipped anywhere in eve. And it allows people to use anything from a frig to carrier to a jump freighter to do it with.

More important than any of that, we need useful filter system.
There should be a way to filter out courier contracts which have a route though lowsec/nullsec, not just the useless end-point filters we have now.
This would remove 99.9% of scam contracts.
