Daredevil is a very nice ship, good for soloing lots of way bigger opponents, but you need to sped some serious ISK to get the best out of it. You'll want to have at least a faction web, to have a chance against a 30m-ceptor. I ended up with a ~200m fitting. Kinda expensive for a ship that gets owned by one of the most used ships in nullsec and dies horribly to anything with a medium neut. But it still is fun ;-)

@OP I'd go with an AB Fitting, cause the DD has got no reduction bonus to the signature. If the MWD kicks in, you'll have the signature of a small moon (ok, that be around 200m). I think, the ship relies more on the "not getting hit" strategy, so no MWD.

Put an afterburner on any frigate and you should be shot. AB's are unrealistic modules for ret*rd frigate 1v1's. A frigate MUST move at 2k+ MINIMUM to survive any real situation. The sig radius increase is minor on a daredevil since you start moving at 3500+ and can GTFO in, literally, seconds.

An AB makes you die. Good luck closing distance on a teir 3 BC moving at 1400. Learn to work transversal and your sig radius means nothing.

Daredevils (or any other blaster frig) are simply better with rails. Small rails are amazingly good. You have stupidgood webs, and with a faction web (and links, if youre that sort) you have amazing web range.

Fly the ship to its strengths. Fitting it with blasters is a good way to die to... well, like anything else.

Also one Scram and you're pretty much screwed. I don't like MWDs on Frigs. Sure, it can be a royal pita to close on far away targets... but that's a matter of smart warpin points.
