A few questions on scanning down mission runners and scanning sigs

As we have to make our own fun in this game i have come to that time when i have to try to gank mission runners

So ill steal a few things let my ship be damaged and then bring in the real ship and kill the pve ship in my pvp ship. If i feel like to much of a -snip- ill just go back to playing "chase me chase me" in Russian space.

I know that everyone has there own individual sig name for scanning for 23 hours which changes after downtime and my plan is to go into a mission system and only have battleships on scan and then if they dont take the bait ignore there Sigs on my scan so that i dont hit the same one twice.

Questions

1. If i have a ships sig on ignore and he leaves the system will it reset and show up again on scan if he comes back into the system.

2. If i have scanned down all the battleships in a system and have them all on ignore and i leave the system and return will the ignore function be reset on all of those ships so they all show up again.

(Im not sure that this will be a long career but then again it might turn out to be my favourite thing in the world)

My thanks for your answers and i would like to hear what like to hear what GDs favourite savant, Tippia has to say.

1. Not sure, probably yes
2. Yes, once you leave a system then all your ignores are forgotten when you enter again.

I highly recommend ninja salvaging as a profession. It got me into PVP when i soloed a navy mega in my Cyclone, then backed it up the next day with another. I was able to make a billion a month (but you'll struggle to do that with the loot the way it is today). It got me into wormholes, which got me richer, more PVP, good mates and I saw and did some truly crazy stuff.

To answer your questions,

1) No. As long as you keep your session live (ie; don't dock or leave) all that is on ignore stays on ignore.
2) Same as above, if you change your session, all ignores are wiped.

High Sec shenanigans are always entertaining and are a fine, casual way to play the game. Listen to Trinket's Friend, he knows his stuff.

I might add that you should include BCs, (lots of these that will shoot), Command Ships, T3s and Marauders. Mission Runner ganking is a numbers game and you'll get more hits (and have more success) if your filter is not so limited.

Convo me in game if you have any questions.

Keep in mind the upcoming changes to flagging when you start doing more of this. Not sure if and / or how it will affect you, but it is something to note.

Generally the changes to crimewatch...will make you use more safespots. QED.
