Carebearism and the future of Eve

I’m trying to get some insight on this. So please tell me where I’m wrong. Here are the facts. We all know carebears and to an extent, HS miners, are ruining the game.Inflation is getting worse and every patch PVP is nerfed just a little bit more. GD has been degenerated into carebear whingage and rants, more than I can enjoy in a day. High sec space has never been safer. Their behavior affects all of us. So why are we allowing this to happen?

Nobody wants to say it, so I’ll say it: Carebears are playing the wrong. And I don’t buy that their subscription is worth the same as the subscription of someone who *gets* eve. Because it isn’t. This parasitic behavior is killing Eve slowly but surely. It’s been proven time after time, MMORPG after MMORPG, that carebearism kills games. They suck the life out of a game and move on. So why even pander to them?

That’s the problem. So what’s the solution? In my opinion, CCP should allow the predators of Eve to have a go at them unchecked. They provide fat juicy targets so the player base is happy shooting them, and the community as a whole gets rid of a parasitic group. Before trashing my idea hear me out.

How would this help? HS is known for harboring botters. And HS is infected with carebears beyond repair. Do the math. Yes, there are bots in other areas of space. But high sec is teeming with them. Is it a coincidence that both these classes are able to coexist together and get along so well? I challenge CCP to open the gates of hell on them. Let’s get rid of this problem for CCP. Ease the restrictions for outlaws in HS and allow the player base to solve the problem of bots and carebears with one shot at the same time. This game is intended to be difficult. Yet by allowing these soft players to come in and make this game their home it’s ruining it for all of us

So how do we do it? Carebears don’t want to interact with the rest of Eve. But most of us understand the intricate economy and cycle of Eve. We have to interact In order for the game to survive. There must be destruction and plenty of it. It’s a fact. I’m not asking CCP to force carebears out of their comfort zone, but instead *slowly and gently*prod them to PVP zones. Have them fight for what they take advantage of the most: missions and ore. They abuse these resources like a parasite. I ask that these resources be moved to LS and allow Darwin to sort out the rest.

But why? Why not just leave them alone? Because the problem will only get worse. Self-entitlement is what drives carebearism. Carebears wrongfully believe they have a right to be safe. And they believe they’re entitled to making their precious isk while being safe. This isn’t what Eve is about and it isn’t how Eve was intended to be played. Eve was built on risk versus reward. If they want to be safe why not just find one of the (literally) thousands of other games? I urge you not to let Eve be turned into a game for the mindless drones. We need to take back this beautiful game and make sure it stays beautiful.

like everyone else i pay for my subscription in one way or another, therefore don't you think i should be allowed to play the game the way i want to and not how you want me to f***ing play it. All you want to do is bully people into playing your way or no way, i bet your a fat, speccy kid with no friend's. Feel free to slag me off personally i don't give a flying f**k

why don't we just ask ccp to get rid of asteroids altogether, then the miners would not have anything to mine? because in reality industry,mining,farming and whatever else are what makes the world go round, weather it be in a game or in real life.

i bet you play battlefield or cod and winge about the snipers and how they camp, how many F**king snipers do you see in real life running round like a headless chicken? none, they lie in wait then boom headshot.

Not only are you wrong, you're a day late and a dollar short. Faction Warfare, Incursions, PLEX manipulation and/or supply are the favorites to blame inflation on. There have already been many epic threads that simultaneously prove and disprove the previous items as the root cause of inflation. More importantly, those threads include facts, true facts, and incontrovertible facts taken out of context.

Bottom line is *buddy*

PVP pilots screwed the PVP/market side of the game

Created huge alliances and blue blocs and now have no PVP

So

They now ***** non stop on the forums about carebears in some vain hope ccp will make high sec into low sec

Because they are bored

They screwed the market
The screwed small gang/solo pvp
They Screwed general PVP across multiple regions by blueing each other
They invaded WH's to cause PVP but ended up driving smaller corps out
They screwed eve
They hate people who PVE

And now they need a new hate frame

i.e the carebear

Pretty sure FW has a larger effect on inflation than "Carebearism".

Don't be a B...do what goonswarm did in burn jita, go for it, organize a burn hi sec campaign and im quite sure if null sec mega corps see results and your sincerity they will back you with isk as james512 or whatever he is gets his financial backers, do it make internet MMO history don't just be a potato on a couch screaming I could have made the play. DO IT PLEASE.
