Confusion over GCC

So i had GCC, went into a high sec station in a POD and undocked in a Frigate before GCC ticked down. Got a msg on the screen saying my warp drive has been disabled and i couldnt re dock, station guns promptly pop me. Was never actually scrammed. Not worried about the loss at all i was just completly unaware of the mechanic as was my corp, did something go wrong or is this a thing?

This is the fix CCP implemented against the Boomerang exploit. While GCC is active you cannot do anything in a ship in high sec, not even a rookie ship or shuttle. Can't warp can't dock can't jump can't go to a wormhole. You basically gotta wait out your gcc in a station, it is like going to space jail for 15 minutes.

working as intended...works even when gcc ran out while in statiuon and you still have a cc (yellow) with the corp owning the station....

Pretty sure you can still cloak though.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

no he means "locked" as in concord has completely locked your ship down internally using super sekret tech we dont have.

Correct but if they're lucky they might cloak before concord show up.

To cloak you'd have to get away from the station to 2,500m (I think that's the uncloaking distance anyway)

You cannot cloak in high security space while GCC regardless of being locked or not.

aaaand you can not cloak at all once you are below -5 or have a bad standing with the native faction (not sure which one as both is the case for me...)

You can eject from the ship but it still counts as yours so it still gets popped.
