I've been good this year and I'd love if CCP could release a 1080p sized picture of the Kaalakiota peaks shown here in this EVE Chronicle: Cold Wind.

It'd make a fantastic wallpaper. In-fact any of those Chronicles would. How about we get HD copies of all of the artwork for all the children this year!

What I love most about the picture is the people in it. Look at them! They are caldari wielding spears and other crude weapons! Just shows how horrific the collapse of the EVE gate was (at least for them).

That is a cool picture. I'll poke around the office and check on the feasibility of getting it, and other Chron artwork, released at higher resolutions. I promise absolutely nothing, however.

Will certainly help set the mood as the upcoming long and brutal winter sets in. Also I (my character) descents from a noble bloodline of the Kaalakiota Empire, far into the Caldari's ancient past, and from that perspective I can relate to Lieutenant Aikisen.

Appreciate the link to more upgraded resolution pictures of the excellent Chronicles' artwork.

Not quite. There's a TON of artworks that deserve higher res. I'd be particularly interseted in the one from "The Battle of Vak’Atioth" chronicle (http://community.eveonline.com/background/potw/default.asp?cid=11-02-05)

Any chance we can see them ? There were so many good artworks made for the chronicles... don't let them die in shameful low res ! (especially when you see the level of quality of the latest wallapers, they're gorgeous !)

Oh! I just got greedier!

I forgot there is also artwork for the now defunct trading card game. I bet there are quite a few high-res pictures of those. They are important too because there are so many planet side pictures!

would honestly be wonderful if CCP released alot of the artwork im sure they ahve sitting in ahrd drives somewhere, if only because they are awesome. I personally know 2 people who over 8 months i could not talk into even looking at Eve's free trial until i showed them some wallpapers/screenshots.

asf ar as advertisement goes, even if its just friends with pictures on the computers Background, images catch mroe attention then any longwinded explanations of sandboxes and freedom.

Great.... I really love it. Big smile I love the eight ones. The amarrian church door. Is there a way I can include it into the wiki? Would be there copyright problems?

As for high res art work, Im totally in support for that. Thumbs up.Big smile






P.S. I made ones a huge ugly ones... but mark726 has use in his pdf-Guide just the left side with the church... So I change it again (see here or here). So Im not really unbias about that topic Bear

Edit: I remember Cpt Adcile has some nice pictures... maybe if he is still active he can repost some of his work. Big smile
