Other examples of big MMO's recently. Lets think about that. I'd perhaps hazard a guess at SWTOR and GuildWars2.

SWTOR is already dying a horrible death because it's content is too "single player-y" and failed to engage players for more than a month or two until they max out their level and bore themselves to tears over the repetitive PVE experiences.

GuildWars2 has had a better reception, however, I am still hearing the same, tired stories of players getting bored with repetitive PVE tasks and hollow PVP victories.

And with respect to the claim of "nothing big and new".... well last time CCP tried that trick it was with CQ and look what happened then. Pretty much the whole community asked for "fix my ships".

So, CCP spends time overhauling ships.

Now, you are here asking "Y NO NEW CONTENT BRO'S" with the blissful ignorance of a damsel fly.

So why others modern times developers are faster and less buggy and better ?

You clearly haven't played MWO yet.

See FW to tell that's all bullshit.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

totally agree with thread opener.

progress it slow. very slow. I am reactivating every 6 month for 1 further month only.

The sandbox is desperately outdated as well as the game features. I open a new thread and explain my points...

its question to CCP why are you guys soooo slow ? You are adding tiny features but announcing them as HUGE and GREAT. Games market has change over last 10 yrs and you are still in very slow development process ? Why is so hard to add some new features ? Each is such a pain for you.. Every time when expansion is coming up we can all hear how hard it is to make EVE ! So please tell me how it is that others developers are fast and adding so many things to the games, and Eve dev process so slow ? Is this something with Python ? Bad organization ? Or something else ?

A slow cooked steak always has a better quality finish. The problem with games these days is that they develop too fast. Plus, you obviously fail to understand the actual scope of the job here. Perhaps you could make it better? Go ahead, no one is stopping you. Make a better game than EVE in the same genre and then come on in here and say "I told you so." Until then, there is no way anyone is going to take your opinion seriously unless they share your ignorance, arrogance and belligerence.

I, for one, appreciate the amazing universe and alternate reality that CCP have given us. People need to start appreciating what they have more, and stop expecting so much more - sure, there's no problem striving for me, but expecting it as if you're entitled to it is really just.... lame. #firstworldproblems.

EVE is losing subs, that much is clear. It is also losing actual players at a much faster rate, which is ameliorated by alt-proliferation somewhat.

Unfortunately the alts are generally paid for by PLEX and this is going to lead to self-destruction of the whole PLEX economy as supply remains the same or less, but demand increases exponentially.

Far too many primordials around unable to evolve. Read stuff about Incarna and how unable this community is to accept change and progress.
Read F&I and other forum sections to see how strong this inability is.

They need to feel special because their mom told them so... Lol

My man.
Play Mass Effect 3 MP. Then come back and say this with a straight face. I guarantee you will not succeed.

I have previously criticized CCP for..let's call them ****-ups, (*cough*newMinniedessie*cough*), but I have never counted "slow and buggy" among those ****-ups. Unfinished yes, but what's finished is usually solid in terms of major bugs - do remember that minor ones are harder to spot in testing - at least until someone goes out of their way to break it.

And then they'll only fix it if they can reproduce it, otherwise bug report is ignored even if it means a player can loose stuff completly not his fault and not in combat, without a trace when there should have been. And even if it can be reproduced, it can take more than 2 years to fix small issues.

Ever tried changing a blueprint in the manufacter/research window and select a division you don't have take access too? Or after a fresh client install without any settings, corporation assets shows as no items in current region when there are? Yeah, both reported 2 years ago.
Transactions with buy or sell filter, all wallets? 23 months and counting.

Can't even get patch notes straight, with incursion they said Junior accountants can see corp shares.

It's that I'm too lazy to check if it's still an issue and the old api is deprecated, but it used to be possible to view corp transactions with an junior account with the api but not in game. Bug report closed months later asking if I still had the issue...
