Trust Others, but be Prepared for the Worst

Too much, too much paranoia and suspician in EVE!!!

Hard to recruit, hard to help others, hard to collaborate, not because people are dicks (and they often are) but because everyone is suspicious!

One of the lessons I apply to life (as I believe people are good at heart) is from the old Kung Fu TV show, see link of this 2 minute clip:

, where little Cane and his little monk buddy are 'robbed' by an old man with a kind face, who persuaded them into a vulnerable situation. They both take something different away from it.

The good of others can be 'encouraged' through trust. Which can lead to valuable collaboration and an ultimately rewarding experience.

The thing is, the game is not a life and death situation, so it is okay to loose every now and then. However, being trusting does not translate into being stupid and gullible.

So...I would say humor people, give them the benefit of the doubt. If someone really wants to exploit you they can and will, so be prepared to be exploited. In the end your friends and allies whom you trust will be there for you.

Spicey Lemon Alfredo Sauce:
-Creamy Alfredo
-Sauteed Meat of your choice (chicken, fish, or shrimp works best) in lemon butter:
Fresh Lemon Squeezed, and Thin Lemon Slices, Butter, Basil, Garlic, Salt, and Cayenne for KICK!
Add Alfredo sauce and bring to simmer while stirring
Pour over pasta, bread, or even just consume straight

There I have trusted you with one of my special secret sauces! One of MANY!!!
