I would really like to test a Wyvern or Leviathan but there are none available.

How can I acquire one?

The Wyvern takes a month to build. Sad

I'm pretty sure that it's from 01:00-02:00 GMT every day. If not, it's from 02:00-03:00 GMT.

I give up - 12 hrs later and I've had enough of effing around trying to update my test files (including deleting folder and downloading fresh copy) - launcher doesn't download full patch, manual download files are corrupted. The simple answer to relieve the frustration is say "f**k it" and forget it. At this rate I won't even bother updating to Retribution.

I just copied my original Eve folder to another folder on my C: drive, created a shortcut to the eve.exe and added the extension to the target. After it patched it worked just fine. If you go to http://eve-offline.net/ it'll tell you if the server is up. If the test server isn't up it won't even open the launcher.

Yes, thats what i usually do. But, when that didn't work, I tried the buckingham installer, and when that didn't work, I tried the manual install. Which, didn't work either.
(The patch is at 71% and 700mb+ on the download when the sh*t hits the fan, when i do it like you described)

I can't seem to get bucky to launch now. It was working yesterday and I did not change anything but today it won't launch. I click my shortcut and it opens the launcher like normal, I hit "play" and then I get the "inferno" screen but then nothing. I change task manager and ccp exe is running and won't close. If I try to restart it still won't close and the system hangs for 20+ mins. It will eventually close and restart. I am not having problems connecting to TQ however. Any help would be appreciated. I am running Windows 8 Pro x64 if that helps.

Ok here's my deal.....Everyday after bucky's downtime i have to run my repair tool in order to get buck back up and running, Then it has to be repatched like 1.52 gb.....This has been going on now for a week any tips or direction would be greatly appreciated....

Good Morning,

since a couple of days i am trying to get the Bucky Server Client up and running.

What i did was i followed the tutorial here : http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Buckingham

When i am starting the Game, the Launcher is comming up telling me that i have the wrong version, trying to do a patch and after half an hour it is comming back with ( Data Corruption Detected ) blablalblabal please redownload the game ...

Well okay went off and downloaded:

So i read this Logfile as ... "oh jea i am _the_ launcher and i got started as the once for the bucky server but i dont care, and try to applie some updates from TQ because i am awesome and this is what awesome Launchers do ..."

So Please CCP can u tell me what i am doing wrong ?

I am having the same problem, it brings up the inferno window after i hit play then nothing, task mager shows it should be running.

Altho it does let me end the procces unlike for Albert

Ive connected to buckingham once before but ever since then its done this

you can find it in [ Installation folder of your EVE_BUCKY/launcher/cache/launcher.XXXXXX]

Good Morning ( its 2:00 am at my timezone )

I think i found the Issue Big smile

The connection to " HTTP " Sides in my Network is done by a Squid Proxy which is able to identify the " useragent " of an request which wants to go out into the internet.

According to the Logfiles the Eve Launcher ( which is doing all the downloading ) is identifying itself with the agent name " EVE Launcher / 132 " which is fine.

However the ACL Rules stored and Loaded by the Proxy says " only this agents are allowed : Mozilla, bla bla bla Internet Explorer "

Therfore the request from the Eve Launcher is just getting vaporised by the Proxy.

CCP is it possible to have the Launcher adjustable for Proxy settings ?

I can't connect to Buckingham with either of my accounts, it says i have the wrong password, but i can connect to TQ using the same password.
