I guess this is the question: If the tuskers joined faction war they would get fewer fights?

Not that they would join fw. Just, theoretically, why would joining faction war reduce the amount of pvp they would get? I would think it could only increase it. (assuming they are in fw space that is)

Scanning through your blog and seeing what sorts of fights your getting with the tuskers, it would seem you could do that if you were in fw - plus if you want them you would get the fw fights as well.

Make faction war occupancy pvp instead of pve https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=53815&#post53815

Good day:

Any pirate corp that is part of a militia will get less fights because they've ruled out anyone in the same militia even if they don't belong to the same corporation.

The Tuskers is NBSI with alts and entities paying for protection being blue. That means far more targets than anyone in any militia.

There are pirate corps that are a part of militia. At least on the Minmatar side, they all suffer from new -- as well as those who like to play dumb to be mean -- members who don't set up their overview shooting them, and even podding them.

For a pure pirate corp, especially with NBSI, any neutral is a target. Your own corp members don't shoot you (outside of arranged duals), so one overview and nobody claiming to be new or doh.

Cearain, your own statistics showed pvp activity down for Amarr / Caldari militia members (if not just you). I had the same experiences with Minmatar fw. Where it was ok back in October 2010, got a little bit better into early 2011, and then tanked through the rest of 2011 YTD.

Some of my friends in FW left to join piracy; and they are enjoying the PVP activity level.

I still chat with some in MInmatar FW, and I continue to hear the same old, same old. Some corps are evolving, and making improvements (which is a good thing), and other corps that have great potential, continue to flounder.

Thank you.

If you like being the hit and run guerillas, may I introduce you to the Stealth Bomber, covert T3, and recons. Hell, even Black Ops. A well organized gang can stir up quite a bit of trouble, even in deep sov space. Covert cynos ftw.
And lastly, low sec isn't some bucket of cool fights waiting for you to go win one. Most people that live there know what they're doing, so the only time you will see them tends to be when they think they have a fair shot at killing you.

It's hilarious that a (alliancenamehere)DOT alliance is complaining about blobbing when every engagement with them has led to them blobbing us. It's part of the game. Honestly, I worry more about small gangs than a blob most of the time. Smaller gangs are generally fast moving, hard to catch, and hard to stop, whereas a blob is usually seen a mile away.

By "fights," he must have meant catching a noob ratter at a belt, as opposed to getting ganked at a gate.Cool

I meant neither.

Zoe I realize I can engage a battlecruiser in a frigate and get a fight that way within minutes. But I mean a fight of decent quality not just suicide.

Where are you that you are getting decent pvp fights in minutes?

Other than rvb I have never heard anyone even make such a claim.

Then Perhaps you Should join RvB? Just a thought.

Let us begin....

I have been in rvb its decent. But they make the rules by arranged agreement. Thats not right. CCP should create the mechanics to make for a fun game. The fact that rvb exists proves ccp could do better when it comes to small scale pvp.

Buuuuuut That's just me.

It's not just you. I think of myself that way, too. Now, I don't actually do it. I just think it. It helps me sleep at night!

This isn't LOL or HON, my kb stats will tell you that much.Bear

It's only blobbing when you lose, otherwise it's good fleet comp.
