Greetings everyone! First off here is my eveboard link: http://eveboard.com/pilot/Sol_Boma

So far in my eve career, I've just hung out with my 2 buds running lvl 4's and dabble in mining on alts. My main focus for the group has been tanking and I also trained in some leadership skills for bonus. Now I'm training in drone skills to better help me take care of frigates when I solo lvl 4's. The next step I'm wanting to take is getting into incursions and wh/exploring. I am looking at the t2/t3 cruiser line up primarily. The pilgrim, the guardian, and the legion were ships I had my eyes on. I feel like a legion is fairly versitile and can both get me in incursions and exploring. I could also throw in the Nightmare, but I don't know if I even want to think about training shields....it's the Amarr in me

I guess I'm just asking for opinions based on my current set of skills. I like being a slow boat that buffs and chugs its way along the field. Any help/advice/direction is appreciated. Fly safe!

If been a pure amarr character for 2 years now. never have regret it. I like the complete line up and the first year i was also saying that i not gonna train shield skills 'cause i'm amarr. But at a certain point i needed to train the shield skills for pvp nano fleets.

Now 99% of the time i undock a shield fitted ship. If you're going for T2 ships then shield skills are really nice.
A few exsamples of nice shield fits are :
T1: Arbitrator, harbinger and oracle
T2: zealot, pilgrim and curse

For what ships to look at. Well amarr has the nicest T2 cruisers imo. The T1 are not so nice but the T2 are just wonderfull.

And for your last question: what to train.
Arrow Get drone support skills up to IV (you're doing a lot of pve L4. so those scram frigs are a real pain in the ass)
Arrow Get you're gunnery support skills up to V (whatever you gonna do. you always can use those)
Arrow Get gunnery specialization skills to IV (it doesn't hurt for those few days training)
Arrow Get some extra support skills to V (like energy grid upgrades, electronic upgrades, warp drive operation)

Wait a bit to try the legion, If i look at your skills now. it don't gonna give you any benefit. If you really want to use it, I recommend to bring the above skills up to IV and V
