Ishtar vs Gila

On an alt of mine I'm looking to do exploration in null sec. I have good drone skills, good gunnery skills and non existent missile skills. What would be best for doing the exploration in? Even without the missiles I was thinking the extra damage I could get from the drones in the Gila would outweigh the DPS I would get from hybrids in the Ishtar.

Also the Gila seems to be tankier than the Ishtar.

Does anyone have any experience with either, or preferably both of these ships for exploration?

This one's a bit over the edge guys.

Locked for breaking... well, pretty much all the rules.

Ishtar does better in Serpentis and Guristas space due to native resists. The built-in DLA is also really, really nice to have.

Gila does better in Angel space due to resist bonus and being a clear shield tanker.

Neither really shines against Sansha/Blood but either will do the job.

Both are seriously limited by CPU. Both do the same drone damage, and both need omnis and DDAs to really shine. Ishtar can armor or shield tank; Gila can only shield tank.

Ishtar is overall better on some specific races (Angels and Guristas) in primis, due to its native resistances.
Also does more DPS than a Gila (in general, some specific fits in gila can do better obv).

However on other factions such as Drones or Sanshas Gila is better due to better tanking capabilities.
