Ask any old character traders (post in bazaar to request one's attention if needed). Price of characters are not completely random. The asking price does fluctuate depending on a number of reasons, but it follows a pattern. The need of the buyer affects the price of characters the least (if at all). How many sellers sold characters for under market value because the buyer states that he/she is poor in-game?

Reaching a certain SP level does gain you much more isk. Consider current sales threads for characters well above 100mil sp. I can link a few for you (if interested).

I know that I am not being personable, but there are reasons:
A misinformed seller believes that he/she knows more about character bazaar than a market player that has done countless transactions. Novalis X posts his opinion in a WTB thread, refutes my statements without evidences, and offers a character that does not meet my requirements.

kakarrot2 posts something that needs to be edited by filter, refutes my character trading abilities, and states that character prices should reflect GTC prices. If you saw his character, it will be evident that it is in his best interest to state so. It is trained improperly (training of advanced spaceship command to 5 before completing battleship to 5, etc) Clearly misinformed as argued by myself.

bestica doesn't state a single counter, and posts in my WTB thread (as if it is in general discussion).

I am out to buy a character for a reasonable/current price, not make e-friends.

Depends.

Lower sp characters tend to have higher rate than 50 mil sp characters.
The rate tends to get a little more distorted by the the transfer costs than the higher sp characters (2 plexes = 1.176 billion isk atm) as well as higher demand (affordability).

I at one point had over 8 high sp characters in stock, though only ended up using 2 frequently. So I sold them for good profit, but now one high sp and one mid sp are lonely...so I am looking for company.

There is a 118 mil sp character that is probably going to be sold for 45 bil area.
There was a 99 mil minmatar (linked before in this thread) that sold for 31 bil area.

You stated that I will not find what I am looking for within the budget (which you assumed was for all characters). You stated that I should be expecting a bad mix of skills for the budget. Then proceed to tell me that a 36 mil sp -9.xx pirate should fetch more than 300 mil per 1 mil sp without any discount factored in.

The minimum sp amount required is to ensure that the basic training is covered. My preference is actually for 50-60 mil sp, but i set the 40 mil sp as a limit to consider. Since it is short (3 mil or 10 mil sp), I am not inerested. Period.

You state that you have been in character trade for a long time. Somehow mentioning Jita, as if plexes were used for the transfer cost for a "long time." So you want to meet in Eve-online and discuss our first character acquisition/sale to see who has been in the character sale market longer?

Due to the nature of buyer/seller relationship, I highly doubt that my personal attitude will affect purchases. Buyer will be interested in friendly sellers, but sellers are interested in attaining the most isk for their character. Considering the situation (you posting your opinion, undermine my WTB thread, then link under qualified character), I believe I am within reason to argue with your points. The only other option is to report your post, as it would qualify for removal (opinion + not qualified character)...but wanted to argue my points (which were not refuted...just you bad buyer/seller etc).

I am looking for a character that can fly many ships proficiently.

Since you are minmatar/gallente/amarr character with multi-racial training, I expect it to be proficient in all the trained races (to a point). You can market it as strictly minmatar (as in your eve-mail to me). However, I see a ton of sp that could have been used for minmatar related skills.

I do not look forward to the time it will take to get your character to the level I desire...such as navigation for roaming with speed tank related minmatar ships, controlled burst for trained energy turrets, hybrid turret or missile skills for the caldari cruiser 5, and drone skills.

it is a good start, but I am not patient enough to train it the rest of the way.
