Ship Spinning Not Working For Me!!

I have installed the latest update (including patch) and been unable to get ship spinning to work.

The ship is there with its lovely (animated) rotating guns. However when I drag my cursor across the screen the ship stays static. I've literally spent the last hour trying to tweek my graphic settings to allow me to revel in the return of ship spinning.

Any ideas / solutions to what I am missing / doing wrong?

See if clear your cache and settings helps.

1) Start the EVE client (do not login yet).
2) Press ESC or click on the Settings button and go to the 'Reset Settings' tab and click on the 'Clear' button for 'Clear all cache files' and "clear all settings files" ( This does not delete the settings nor cache folders and files but saves them with a different timestamp
3) The client will prompt you to restart the client, click yes on that prompt
4) Once the client has been restarted login normally and see if that fixes the issue.

The fix works for ship spinning, but "Clear all settings files" does unfortunately clear all settings, so at next logon you will have lost all your window positions, etc.

If you did reset the settings through the ingame button, you can still restore them. Find the application data directory and you should find the backed up settings folders (settings0 etc.). Renaming them should get your settings back accordingly (and if they caused any problems, those as well).

See http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/EVE_default_directories on where the application data folder with the settings is on your system.

We need a better fix for the stuck ship spinning then... can't afford to lose all my settings!

This problem should disappear after the patch today, if it does not please file a bug report so the developers can wing out the last of this pesky little bug.
