I haven't played for a while and now when i'm back i want to try my hand at incursions, something i never really did.

Is this setup acceptable? Drones would be a mix of hammers and hobs.

There are much better ships for both Caldari and Minmatar pilots when looking at Incursions.
I'll start with Minmatar as they are mostly better suited than missile ships for this task. Both the Tempest and the Maelstrom will be superior to the Typhoon.

Fitting Guide

This site should help when looking at how to fit Incursion ships properly and why.
Looking at Caldari ships they are either used with hybrid weapons (Rokh) or, if one wants to use missiles then in HQ and maybe assault fleets (Raven, SNI etc), depending on the community you run with.

Communities you might want to take a look at are "The Ditanian Fleet" for armor or "The Valhalla Project" for shield fleets. These are both beginner friendly both in fitting and in experience requirements.
For people willing to invest a bit more in their ship and getting much in return the "ISN Secondary" channel of the Incursion Shiny Network is an adress I can strongly advise for shield fleets, if not now then as an end goal of the incursion ladder.

Whatever you head for, I believe you will quickly learn to love the incursion business, not only because of the ISK (wich is awesome btw) but also because of the community aspect.

Happy incursion running Smile

Ok, thank you.

I'll change to a tempest.
