My indy alt has atm almost 20m SP. Most of the time it just mines in highsec, makes T1 ships and sell them. Thats it.
Eveboard

This is what it can do:
Arrow 99% perfect mining
Arrow perfect refining
Arrow mass production
Arrow flying retriever, hulk, orca
Arrow hauling with industrial, transport or freighter

I'm coming to the point that i'm not sure where to go next with it. I've already looked around on the forum and imo there are 3 ways i can go.

1) Training the other industrial skills to IV. (ores and ice mining)
+ It just makes it a nicer mining alt
- Why training for ores that you never mine

2) Traning up those skills up to V just to have to bit of extra
- Mining drone operation V (almost done atm)
- Drone navigation V (faster drones)
- Drone durability IV (a bit more tank on my drones)
- Mining upgrades V (mostly mine in retriever and this would only bonus my hulk fit)
- Hull upgrade V (more tank)
- Shield management V (more tank)
- Shield compensation V
- Shield upgrades V
- Energy management V (it never hurts to have more cap)
- Energy grid upgrades V
- Electronic upgrades V
- Mining director IV
- Jury rigging IV
- Evasive manuevering V
- Maybe a few more trading skills
this gives me a training path for the at least next 110 days but is it really worth it.

3) Looking to start a new profession
stuff like T2 manufactering, PI, Research or maybe a jump freighter

Another option is going for perfect boosting skills, or at least max out mining director, even then orca is a great boosting ship overall.

This is just my opinion, but if you are into production (and like it?), why not try to expand your options by going for option 3?

That being said, the above mentioned booster option would be very nice too.

boosts are always good, but if you use that Orca for general hauling duty, be aware that the hangar is changing so the tanking skills might be a bit more of a priority.

I always mine solo while i'm pvping with my main. So I never been and probably never gonna be the boost in a mining fleet.

Production is indeed a nice income so maybe gonna read some info about T2 production and give it a try.

Thx for the intel, i have already read that it's gonna change. But i never haul a lot of expensive stuff in one trip :)
