im pretty sure this means squat.

Im no expert on law but im pretty sure federal law would over rule this. But with them having that state law there, if the federal law were to change and make recreation marijuana legal, that state law would be in place right away.

Yup, federal law trumps state law so DEA raids and federal charges are definitely in the future

^ Ah but then the fun begins over that.

Watch the outing of judges or DEA agents that smoke pot, or have before.

I don't know though, I don't live in the states that legalized it. so its a bit hard to get overly excited, but its still really cool.

EDIT: also watch for the re-editing of history as well. That shakespeare smoked pot, and that general patreaus smoked pot while in Iraq as well.

Its not supposed to but that's how much it all has turned around since the creation of the declaration. Each state was built to govern itself and the federal government was supposed to maintain the rest on a general basis. So like this weed law or Arizona's immigrant law shouldn't be superseded by the FG.

And holy crap are there some hotties walking on stage right now.....

Anyways, little fact that a lot of people seem to forget is that we had a civil war that was based on states right versus federal government. You can say it was because of slavery but in truth that was a state right (not necessarily a good one so don't jump me about it). 2 sides disagreed, south wanted to secede (war actually started in the midwest), and the rest is in the books.

A pop on a drug test in any federal or military job is an automatic out. 0 tolerance and they don't care why you popped only that you did.

As such you are a filthy hippie and don't deserve a job Straight

You have triple nationality? damn
On a related note a friend of mine with dual US/UK nationality had to rescind her UK citizenship to get security clearance for her current post in the US military, she can't disclose why, or what she does for a job.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

:( , people non 4 star general and big always make the military sound boring. I miss the days, when people in the military were happy to be there, and were enjoyable to be around.

I was a hippy, but the cost for being one in america or perhaps kansas is too high.

Freedom only costs a buck o' five or something but being a hippy costs like $50 dollars or some ****.

Also we should all smile since Mcrystal was fired from the military, for being as anal as you. He didn't even dream of smoking pot and did everything opposite a hippy would do.

Actually you do have a point. Petreaus was a pretty cool guy and non anal, so he had to leave the military over it. At least the CIA picked up though. I do like the current Chairman though, but some people's attitudes make me happy that lulzsec hacks some defense department contractors.

EDIT: A fair warning to you, since you seem to be a fellow troll.

You don't really know the half of getting a military or government job. My dad sadly has one and so I have been around it a few times. Just you here posting and what you post about might end up coming up in a job offer, unless you are only talking about a small job position. If you seriously are going for one of those jobs, I would drop any friends and family that do drugs, find a more respectable forum to post in. Or at least join ISD that way it shows you try to handle problems and unruly people, and don't create problems yourself. Of course the FBI did allow people who smoked 2-3 joints only to apply to jobs like back in 2004-2005, so perhaps there is hope to being able to play eve online or troll people and still get a job.

About time, the law was stupid to begin with. Why should anyone tell us what we can or cannot do to our own body? Now jut to hope for a domino effect to make my country follow suit.
