Anyone have any idea how to do this on a mac OSX 10.8.2?

I tried to figure this out by exporting an overview setting. When I export in game it says the file saves to a directory that basically doesn't exist. (The drive is mislabeled, and I run a search for an idiosyncratic name that i gave it and no results.) Anyone? Thanks!

I assume that you looked in ~/Library/application support/eve online/p-drive/my documents/Eve/Overview
Thats where mine are.
Unless, of course, you are using a cloned client, in which case it will be under the cloned clients name in Application Support.

I ended up figuring it out. With 10.6.8 I needed to use a terminal input to reveal my library folders containing the right folder. I only figured out how to do that realizing the file path the "export overview" gave me I couldn't actually navigate to.

In 10.7.5 you can go to the "Go" menu in the Finder to get to the Library folder. You must hold down the option key for it to pop up.

Mac Client Woes

There is a way to find the overview export files, which I am happy to share with you. If you notice when you export them from in game, they go to the user profile folder. This folder is actually hidden within the package contents of the game itself.

Right click on your EVE Icon in your applications folder and choose "show package contents" then you will see another EVE application Icon, this is EVE. I believe the first Icon is actually the Launcher. Show contents again and inside you will find the transgaming folder. Your user profile can be found inside here.

Odd, when I export an overview, it goes to

DiskName/Users/MyName/Library/Application Support/Eve Online/p_drive/My Documents/EVE/Overview

Yes this is true as well, I am still running 10.7.5 and can not for the life of me figure out why it would save in two different places. Such is EVE, I advise most to look in both places.

Uhm any idea why the settings cant be saved "in the cloud" like the fittings?

I run on two systems, cause sometimes I still use Win7, where my main client was. Currently I am more often on the Mac.

Can I therefore import it from the windows side to the mac? And the question why the settings arent saved in the cloud like the fittings. It would make things much easier.
