Saying GF rude?

Seen it plenty of times.

Solo pilot warps or jumps into a bubble in 0.0 and is blabbed 20v1.

Some scrub in the blab says "GF" in local. What good fight?

Is the person trying to be rude or are they terrible at the game and think that it was actually a GF?

I think it is a new wave of geek talk, when they Say GF, what they mean is IWIHAGF. They are just to lazy to type the whole thing out.

Nah. It's just what you say after a fight if you have any manners.
It's like shaking hands with the other team after the match.

It's more like getting together with 20 other guys and beating some random stranger down and stealing his wallet and clothes, then telling him "good fight" as you walk away, leaving him in the gutter.

Or, in Tippia's lexicon, "Good Mannar"

Personally it seems rather offensive.

I don't like pretenses, so I won't say "GF" unless it actually was a good fight. Also, saying "GF" after a gangrape is a bit patronizing and I try to refrain from doing so.

I always considered it intentionally rude to say GF if you just ganked someone.

People on voice will be like "GF noob lol" after he's raped.

Agreed.

Do you then tell yourself it was a good fight both aloud and in local chat, with a soft disturbingly childlike giggle ended only by a hacking deep-lunged cough? If so, then we might have an explanation for what this GF in local meant. If not, your story's just an amusing truism.
