well im stuck...and need some pve advice/isk making"impatient"

Honestly im stuck i dont know what to do i keep going back and forth and trying to take the quick out of things

basically to shorten it up

What would be the best way fastest way to get into a profitable way of making isk so i may go and pvp

i hear missions are cool and all but i heard there's a lot better way's of making it

I was thinking of doing incursions, take about 40-50 days from where im at to get into a guardian ready to fly and help them properly apparently there are something called vanguards that pay well about 100mill a hour

then I'm thinking well maybe there might be a shorter way and a better way so after i find that way i can use those pve skills and apply them to pvp so i can have a versatile ship rather then just a guardian "sure everyone wants them for pvp logi w/e" but i wanna shoot **** and blow it up

So basically what I'm asking what ships and type of ways "ratting/plexing/wormholes/so on and so forth" would be a fast or a faster train to and less boring?

Ship?
Type of way of making isk?
Details?
Additional info?

please help me i really want to like this game but... my impatient mind is fighting back so hard

The only quick way is buy game time and sell plex for isk.

As for incursions for 100 mil/hr and missioning for 60 mil/hr, those are inflated forum warrior BS numbers pulled out of their ass, you're not getting it.

C5/6 whs are vastly profitable, but it also requires high sp and being tucked away from civilization. If there aren't intruders looking for a fight, which don't happen in high class whs, you don't get pvp.

Chaining sanctums with ratting thanny used to offer 100+ mil/hr non BS figure, while still being close to civilization for fights, but they got nerfed. So now it's still profitable per tick/site, but you won't get them nonstop for big money.

Exploration is hit or miss. Luck's a *****. You can spend all day for zip.

the character is over 2 years old, how long have you actually been playing Eve? i sounds like significantly less than 2 years.

i wouldn't recommend going into incursions as a logi if your experience is quite low with logis and the game in general. just be patient, pay attention, and run some missions for now. if you do those things, you'll figure something out soon enough.

tl/dr: be patient/pay attention.

Impatient in EVE is a no go ... You need patience.

And to Goose99. My fleet actually did 15 sites in the time span of 1 hour. Literally 60 minutes we managed to do 15 vanguards. Big smile We were **** lucky though of course. Awesome spawns and no competition.

You don't necessarily need a guardian. There are many other ships that are useful.

Ok i was in the about same position as you are in right now, now after 3 months im living in nullsec happily :o) ). However i think i took the right way, so im goin to explain:

Assumptions:
-Want to PvP
-need isk inorder to support pvping (ull loose alot at first)
-dont want to grind (missions/mining)

Idea:
combine learning the basics you need for pvp with making money^^.

How i did it:
-Start with canflipping (you get a feel for enemy ships, what you can take on what you cant, greatly removes adrenaline rushes you get when being engaged ^^, doesnt pay well though), meanwhile train skills for exploration
-start exploration in highsec, figure out what sites pay best (not gonna help with that :P)
-move on to Lowsec exploration (you get all the basics you need for pvp srsly, after a week of losec explo my wallet was filled,
and i felt perfectly confident moving thru losec, learning directional scan, Scanning:o), checking local, safespots, reading people, stopping omg smns showing up adrenalin rushs :P), if youve got a nice corp/alliance -> go do some weekly pvp ops with them or smth :o), at that point you will have the money to do so from time to time
-If youve got the skills, go running incursions -> youll learn some fleet basics + good isk(that part i skipped though, as i completely disliked the idea of skillng for big ships :P, however if i was to repeat my career id do it this way
-start moving thru nullsec from time to time just to know how it feels to be bubbled(optional)

-> Go look for a pvp Corp :P

hope this helps^^

as i myself am quite new it might not be the best advise, but it definately works and comparing to other people at my char age i got quite alot of knowledge about the game :P

EDIT: oh yeah and talk to experienced players ALOT, ull make some friends and learn a shitload :P

Partially agree with this ^^^^ I have tried with many ships fits blitzing, dual boxing.. I have never seen 60mil hr missioning.
Incursion Vanguards however can easily get you the 100mil/hr if you get a good fleet. I recently got into a damn good fleet and we were doing sites in under 5 mins and each site reward is 10,5 mil, so can vouch for that. WH'ing isn't bad either but to do get off times. Exploration is also pretty random. So selling plex's or Incursions will be the best till CCP decides to change that.
Logi is always needed.. so train all the support skills up and logi 4 at least and you will not battle to find a fleet.

hm what would be considered support skills

and i like ratting and sanctums and stuff not missioning tho im assuming WH same thing except you search for your sites what would be a decent ship amarr wise to get into to go do those and if any that could be fastly to achieve currently i can fly a tech 2 ed out harbi medium focused

also how are wormholes in genereal? i might just start up a pvp alt and make this guy pve for now?

what would i need whether to be partner or solo or with a small corp to make some decent isk in there and how is it compared to missions/incursion etc

hm what would be considered support skills

everything in engineering, mechanic, electronics and navigation that boost your ability to fit and better maintain modules, cap, health etc.

i srsly recommend exploration (esp. lowsec), as it will greatly enhance your dscan skills and offers a very(very) rewarding challenge for a soloplayer. Also you will get a feeling for the locals, where the high traffic travel pipes are, which entities to avoid and perhaps some basic pvp exercises brought upon an innocent belt ratter. Or heck, another explorer Pirate

Incursions if you're more of a fleetguy, they make vastly more money than lowsec explorers. But i don't like the inertia of a fleet (assembly, moving etc) and the statics of incursions-PvE.

As for the impatience part: Get another account if this is your only one. At the moment you get a discount with the "power of two" program, just look it up in your account management center.
There are so many things you can do with another toon while the other one is waiting for a skill to finish in order to unlock a new career path or ****.

im still interested in WH

Sure, you could as well base out in lowsec on a nice L5 agent and run his missions for epic LP and dogtag profits,
while also getting in touch with the hairy parts of eve, i mean pvp. Requires some good standing though.

I don't know much about wormholes, only ninja'ed some C1 and C2s in a Nighthawk when they were released.
But you hear they give great profits while also offering a challenge to a small gang.

The thing is you're never somewhat 'safe' in wormholes because of no local so you have to hammer dscan to stupidity and beyond to find out what's going on around you.

I am not doing incursions, but I can tell you, those 60 mil/hr are absolutly no problem. All you need is a mach, vargur, whatever, a good agents, and the knowledge which missons to skip and which to run. You do not even have to blitz all of them.

If any thing of this list is missing, you fall quickly down to 30 mil / hr, but hey, with that amount of income you geting fast knowledge, 2 billion isk for your mission runner ship and a good standing with the right agents.

If you really want to try your hand at incursions, but don't like flying the bigger ships, I recommend the Minmatar Recon, the Huginn. Incursion Vanguard fleets will always need webbers to grab the pesky sansha frigs, so that the big shiny faction BS's can pound them into tiny bits. Train up to recon 3 at least (4 is minimum if considering pvp'ing in a cloaky recon btw) and I believe you can web out to 28k or so with standard T2 webs. If you want to get ridiculous, get some Federal Navy webs, recon 5 and a boosting Loki, I think you can break 65k without heat! Be sure to check what range your battleships are equipped for though, it really pisses off the vindicators when you web things waaay out of blaster range. I trained up for a Huginn, and it paid for itself within the day.

Fit goes something like
Highs (not really important)
3x 220m ACs
3x HMLs

Mids:
2x T2 or Meta 4 webs
2x T2 Invulns
1x Large Shield Extender
1x 10mn Afterburner to speed tank torps/run ore. Alternatively, fit a tracking link, or another LSE

Lows:
1x T2 Damage Control
And the other two can be damage mods or speed mods.

Rigs: 2x Med. Core Extenders

Usage is simple. Upon warping in, orbit a battleship at 2500m or so, call for shields when needed, and web ECM frigs first.

The best way to find out about wh's is to get into a wh corp and go from there. You get a good balance of PvE and PvP in wh's. Just look in the recruitment site or ammzi's(posted further up) alliance has many corps who work in both wh's, HS and incursions. Each corp will have different requirements to get into them and they will guide you to what you need to know about wh's.

There are lots of good guides out there to get you going also.
