+ Ability to make the best low-sec gate camp
+ You will get a lot of friends
+ Everyone will have you on their friendlist :)

- Can't dock
- Won't fit through mission jumpgates
- Minmatar and Caldari ones are pretty ugly

Allow me to rectify his point with the logic you need in order to process.

Pros: You'll be able to do the few specialized things you need to do as only a Titan owner can.

Cons: You wont be able to do anything else with that character ever again.

dont fly what you cant afford to lose. If you don't have the ability to get a new one, you just wasted a year of training. You don't get into a titan with the bare minimum, if you aren't a 5/5/5 titan you might as well not fly one.

Titans don't die outside of bridge/jump errors, so unless you're stupid or drunk, or want a BLT, you won't ever die.

Of course it was worth it.

Edit to add:

You will suddenly have the power to make your entire alliance force jump their way through 30 systems of enemy territory to try and save your dumb ass when you click jump instead of bridge. That's a heady feeling, and few are up to the challenge.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Guess again. I seem to remember a certain PL titan that was caught in Rancer while smartbombing the gate, and killed. The kill-mail must be around somewhere... of course the pilot denies it and says he was "in the middle of changing his fit". Yeah I can confirm all capital pilots put smart-bombs in the highs while changing fits.
