Need some advice from Nullsecer (Nullbears need not apply)

So i left lowsec for one of my jaunts around nullsec a few days ago and then i decided to turn it into an experiment.

I looked on the map for the most worthless system with the least traffic in all of NPC space. And i found a -0.1 system with a station with a level 1 distribution agent and nothing else. 1 roid belt and just nothing else.

I took a regular toon and a start up toon with me and just sat in the station and went back to doing other stuff. After about 12 hours a few people came in and now there are about 10 of them and they have not left in 2 days.

I undock my noob toon who is sent straight back into the stations medical bays ( ive done it endlessly now)

They have set up mobile warp disruptors on every path out of the station and are not stopped camping for 2 days.

Question.

1. Is this the standard behaviour i have to accept in nullsec.

2. If someone is a loner do they have to live as the Littlest Hobo

Your very valuable answers please

No need to flatter yourself. Chances are you are not their main target, and that they usually inhabit that system. You may have stumbled in while they were off doing other things. Or they could simply have decided to camp a random system, and will move on at a later time.

That a group of ten people would deliberately camp one person for days would rarely happen, I imagine. Random people camping random systems or their home system however, is quite common.

Because if I wanted to camp some ************ into a station, I'd set one up on a straight line from the station undock just off grid.

Also, what system, Karn? I don't believe you

That is not standard behavior, most folks won't give a rip about 1-2 dudes or one guy and a scouting alt, unless they are a known hot-dropper or blops guy. Chances are- if it's a backwater system with decent sec status they have been doing some afk carrier ratting and they really really need you to leave in order to continue.

Well it would appear that people need their KMs and they will do anything to get it.

Also this system has no strategic value

And when i leave ill just jump back to highsec. I want to see if i can leave a brand new alt character to be camped by multiple targets and how long they will last for.

This really sounds like it or they may want to move a cap ship through

NPC nullsec is just low sec with bubbles. You can probably undock if you do it away from their peak time. But the thing is, you see, even though they don't hold sov, they see the space as theirs. You are in their space. So they will camp you until you give up and jump/death clone out of there.

Nullsec is also not for loners, unless you are quick in and out. The reason is because you could be a potential threat. No one knows you, and you could very easily be a cyno alt waiting to hot drop someone, or a spy. So loners tend to be dealt with quickly.

So in one post you say that null sec people are digging their own graves (so to speak) by bubbling gates and being mean, then this post where you can't do anything because of people camping you in (suggesting that these 10 people are specifically targeting you, discounting the idea that they might actually live there and you simply docked there in another timezone).

You are just full of "win".

And by "win" I mean "disgusting fail". You are trying to play an MMO "solo". A real MMO player would have made 11 friends by now and "had words" with the 10 people preventing you from doing something, ie you would have TAKEN the system from them by force by now. Yet rather than making friends, you spent the time making 2 not very smart General Discussion posts......

This is completely true and if you go to nullsec and settle in a system passing nullsecers would never add your system to their roam ever.

This. And like lowsec, the whole "insta-death if you go there/impossible to solo" myth is overrated and untrue. People who sit in bubbles all day tend to be more incompetent than lowsec pirates (that's why they need bubbles) and oddly more skittish (go in with a cov ops and watch them scatter---OMG CYNO ALT).
