1600mm fits aren't even for BS/BC only, much less BS only : /

Something to do with the extra power needed to move that extra mass? I mean, if you armor plate a car, your mpg/kmh goes throught the floorboard, so maybe alongside balancing them, it's a representation of the extra power being diverted just for them.

Can you hear them? They are calling to us. It is beautiful. http://thegreattichim.wordpress.com/

This argument makes sense on Earth.....and also in EVE space since ships are techinally flying through an engine representing water and not the mostly empty expanses of space.

Now, if this were like actual space, this argument would make no sense: The only thing that would significantly change is how much thrust one would need to move all the extra mass.

As you might guess, I was complaining about the powergrid/CPU method of restricting modules. A fitting system that restricted modules based upon mass (like Mechwarrior) would be more agreeable, in my opinion.

Then go play that.

Hmm,

lets see,

I'll bring my triple plated cane and lets see who wins. Game balance dude. Game balance.

Games can only go so far with realism before aspects develop unfair advantages over others in the game.

I can think of plenty of fits that would wipe the floor with a triple-plated anything

Triple plated Drake?

Yes, that's why it's not "balanced" some can others don't.
Limiting the module type per ship type is nothing new, do you see battle cruisers with BS sized guns? -no
