Im in FW and have found difficulty finding action. What is the best way to meet other people looking for fights? Is there any sort of small fleet gang network?

Have you tried the "Find Fleet" button?

Screaming smack in local usually helps

*Edit: RvB arranges fights, you could join up

Look about in nullsec for a random drake/etc autopilioting.

Tackle it, and hang around.

Have you tried not warping out of your plex when someone comes in?

Sounds like arranging a hotdrop.

Arranged PVP? Where's the fun in that? Go roaming or set up camp in a high to medium traffic system and see what happens.

If you really want arranged PVP, go play WoW where you get to press three buttons (queue menu, queue, accept) for INSTANT PVP ACTION NAOOOOWW

The small fleet gang network resides in Syndicate. Jump into FD- and introduce yourself.

The best way to find fleets in FW is to actually go into the battlefield and find one. A lot of the major FW groups operate on the front lines and are fairly inclusive (meaning they generally don't fleet with people in the general militia).

That said... sometimes said groups will pick up a random or two if the random shows they are "useful." In which case, have Teamspeak, Mumble, or Vent ready and ask to join their audio. If you make a good first impression and/or help those groups get kills then good things will follow.

edit: there is nothing stopping you from starting a fleet yourself. Just make everyone aware that you are "green" and to get into ships that are "expendable." No one will hold any losses against you as long as you keep things moving and fun.

Nope. It's search and destroy. Use the map information, use intel, use scouts etc.

If it is a legitimate fight the human body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.

Why not form your own network? Make a channel for arranged FW fights, advertise it until you get enough people, etc.

Rifterlings have had a few arranged fights with Team Liquid and E-UNI. First we had a Frig/Dessie bash with TL, then we fleeted up with them and took a dump on E-UNI (to the Unistas who were there, you were great!).

E-UNI may not be the best group to get arranged fights out of (red tape, etc). But Team Liquid, Black Rebel Rifter Club, Rifterlings, and Order of the Black Dagger are not terribly opposed to arranged fights. Join channel "weflyrifters" and "Dagger Pub" and give us a shout.
