--My previous offerings--

-Closed This was my first offering; I was unsuccessful in attracting investors.

- [Closed] [Filled] Fully Collateralized 2b bond, 9% 30 days This bond was filled entirely by BringNRain, Vaerah Vahrokha confirmed I returned the investment plus interest with an API check. The investor later confirmed that I returned the isk as well.
- [Closed] [Filled] uncollateralized 2b bond, 9%, 30 days This bond was filled by Makro SSRI via an in-game discussion. The investor confirmed that I returned the investment plus interest.

--My Business--

I am a character trader, and have been trading characters actively for the past two months now. I also dabble in some light station trading and have been looking into t1 research/manufacture. This investment may fund one or all of these activities.

--Why I am seeking an investment--

The character market is very illiquid; due to the need to find the "right" buyer, and the fact that there are external constraints on the speed with which characters can be transferred, it can take upwards of a week to complete one transaction. This means that while the margins can be exceedingly high, it takes a substantial amount of liquid isk on-hand to exploit any opportunities that may arise. As it is now, I am restricted to reselling a single character, because I simply lack the liquid capital to buy and hold multiple characters at once. Five billion isk would allow me to potentially hold multiple characters, greatly expanding the options available to me.

- Various t1, t2, t3 and faction ships; as well as a small stock of t1, t2, faction and DED modules. Estimated value: 4.3b isk

--Liabilities--

- I owe no isk or assets informally
- I have no outstanding debt obligations here on MD

--Risks--

- From the investor perspective, there is the possibility that I will run with the isk. I could swear up and down that this isn't going to happen, but as this is an uncollateralized bond, the risk is there in the eyes of investors.

- There is a possibility that I loose all my isk; barring a catastrophic meltdown of the character market, this is nearly impossible however.

- There is the possibility that I die unexpectedly.





- Please invest in increments of 100 million isk; other than that, there is no minimum or maximum amount that a potential investor is restricted to purchasing.

-The bond will last for 60 days. The interest rate of 9% will be paid after the first month, and again after the bond fully matures. The total interest paid out will be 900 million, or 450 million per month.

- I reserve the right to repay principal, plus interest in full before the bond fully matures.

I have sent the first payment of 450 million isk to Blueprint Seller three days before it is due. I have also sent Blueprint Seller a short update regarding my progress and the status of his investment.

Interest of 450 million for the second month, as well as the initial investment of 5 billion, will be due on 2012.11.11

This confuses the **** out out me

how one earth can u hold multiple toons on less than 20b isk. I mean what are u buying, 20m sp toons. personally with no proof i think ur building cridit for later.

I started off char selling with 14b, 1 toon at a time. unless some how you manage to find really stupid people to sell to u for such low prices, you simply can;t be making any profits. considering now plex reach 1.3b,

Ofc I no longer buy toon of such low sp because they make no profit, but i don't think ur making profit on toons if ur buying more than 1 for 20b


it takes 10hrs to get a toon onces u have found one, if you got it at the right price, no where in hell can it take 1 week to sell. All this seems way to fishy or your just bad at char selling.

Most of the characters I have bought for resale have been priced at or below 10b isk. With the exception of one character sale, which was badly handled on my part, I have made 1b+ profit on each character I have resold (that is after plex cost for the transfer). I don't claim to be a wizard, in fact I know of at least one character in this price range that I missed out on just recently; the character was later resold for a sizable profit. The fact of the matter is that for anyone who cares to look through a few pages of the bazaar, the examples of profit in this price range are easy to find. 1.5b my be a drop in the bucket for you and some other players (the poster above me comes to mind...), but I am happy if I can trade two characters a month at that margin and slowly grow my isk in a way that I find easy and enjoyable.

I am not going to sit here and tell you that building a reputation on MD isn't part of the reason I am doing this; one of the most interesting things about eve for me is the meta-game. That said, the 5b investment has allowed me to invest in multiple characters, and I have made a good amount of money as a result of said investment.
