David Braban is hoping to raise £1.25 Million on KickStarter to give Elite a 21st Century makeover!

BBC Technology - Elite classic video games remake seeking backers

This time I hope he gets other coders & staff to help him, as his first attempt at a PC updated version of Elite was very late, buggy and underwhelming as he totally failed to keep up with pace of change in PC graphics & what people wanted in agame Cry

In fairness, many of the problems with Frontier: First encounters was that David Braben was forced into releasing early by his publishers.

You'll have to pry my installation of EVE from my cold dead hands, but if this comes out, I will play the absolute heck out of it!
