EVE Alliance Tournament Discussion

It's a pretty good tip and you probably discovered it independently but it doesn't mean the idea was first discovered by you and it doesn't mean that anyone else who uses it copied it. We used this in AT9 and I wouldn't be surprised if it was used before that.

A variation of this idea is to put links on more than just 3 ships if you happen to have 4+ bc/cs in a setup and move squad positions based on what you are facing just before the cd. Moving squad positions during a match is important too as your squad leader getting taken out will remove wing and fleet bonuses for everyone.

Anyway you'd probably get a more receptive response to your posts if you didn't claim ownership of ideas. Ironically, if you hadn't made it an issue by saying it was your idea you probably would've been given credit for it anyway since you're the first to discuss it publicly. hth

I never claimed any ownership (I don't think you can patent eve fits ); on the contrary - I would like it if everyone used the sensor integrity link and ECM setups became much weaker and more rare. I did say I invented it (which I did), and that my team was the first to use it in ATX as far as I know (actually some of it was invented for AT9, but didn't end up being used). People here really like to put words in my mouth; maybe it's the written form, where no nonverbal cues are available that makes people think I implied things I didn't.

I would easily believe you knew and maybe used this trick before we did, but VoC more likely did "borrow" it from us (hopefully the won't take offence at "borrowing"), as it's too much of a coincidence that they used it right after my cyclone loss.

Also, this is just the first trick - there will be more. I picked to discuss this one first because it was already visible if you looked closely enough (my and VoC loss-mails).

Yes, having more than 3 link ships is another good trick, but somewhat more obvious, I think.

Confirming VoC has very skilled pilots, quite a few have been pvping VERY WELL before you or me have even started playing eveonline. Most of VoC has played this game strictly for pvp for many years and given the number of highly ranked pilots in it and corp histories you should not assume we had to "borrow" anything from anyone. This was our first tournament, hell we haven't even been in this alliance a year yet so there isn't any real tournament history to base your assumptions on since we fought you so early in ATX.

I know you are not trying to offend anyone faffy but just from our history of flying together lots of times you can come across as if you are attacking someone when you are only trying to provide constructive criticism and feedback.

It's because every time you post we catch the scent of a bittch and it just draws in all the hard dicked dogs aka VOC to your thread, but seriously just sit back and look at your posting history on these forums and try and understand why people dislike you.

Don't mind the naysayers Waffy, there are kindred spirits out there who know how great you truly are. Who can see your amazing potential, they know the entire EvE universe is out to get you, to bring you down when they should worship you. One day you will show them, you will show them all how right you were with your "ideas", your complaints and "suggestions". They will know the pain of having wronged you, they will know suffering for doubting you. Its coming Faffy, the day of reckoning is coming.
