Keyboard only half works.

This doesn't happen all the time but every so often half my keys stop responding. I can talk in the chat channels but that's about it. CTRL, F keys, and ESC keys do not reply after being pressed. It is very crippling to not be able to use these keys especially while in PvP. In order to log out I have to alt+tab. Keyboard seems to work fine in every other program and I tried swapping keyboards but the problem persisted. In addition the ENTER key doesn't work at log in but then works fine for entering text in channels. I did a search and found others have had this same problem as far back as the beginning of 2011. Yet none of them had a functioning work around. any thoughts? Has the solution to this problem really eluded CCP for a year and a half now? Or has no one submitted an actual bug report on it yet?

had this issue happen to me today, and I still cannot get my kb working ingame and yet it's working here
