Er what about if m0o still existed and they could still pwn concord?

What if nano fibers gave the same bonuses as inertia stabs and over drives ?

What if wcs had no downsides still?

What if webs actually instantly zeroed your speed?

What if there we no wormholes, no jump freighters, no super caps and all gates ejected the people using them 50 around the other side?

It was always interesting to watch the conflict between goons and bob.

But ever since bob died and along with the original goonswarm, everything seems rather meh and uninspiring in nullsec.

My question is where did they go? Did they all just quit after they lost? No they are still in game just in different corps or alliances. A game like this holds most of its player base. It just gets shuffled around.

A lot of truth in that. BoB and the disbanding of BoB changed EVE. It was no longer about internet space ships and became the meta trash it is now. BoB showed the best way to win a war in EVE is to never fight it.

BoB were the equivalent of today's hardcore Texan conservatives - Goons are the equivalent of hipster anarchists. BoB were bitter veterans of dying breed, however Goons have become deluded in their own ideology. What about the non-radicals? The pubbies? We're left as the rejected.

Actually, if BoB didn't invent what we now think of as meta gaming they were a driving force in making it a common tactic in any large scale EVE conflict.
